New Super Mario World : I can't think of good Subtitles Winter C3 Edition

Also if you could think of a good subtitle, PM'ing me or posting in this thread would be helpful.

A bit late, but here it is! And since this is just repeat of my project from Summer C3, which was a repeat of my project from C3 2012, I might as well retell of what New Super Mario World is.

New Super Mario World is my hack of Super Mario World that demakes New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. Every level from NSMBDS will be ported over, with some changes due to hardware differences.

Screenshots:

Early levels have been updated to look better and are more closer to NSMBDS.

In some levels this drastically changes the level design!

A sewer that was somehow made *LESS* shitty.

Levels have been given Yoshi Coins that didn't have them before.

The Desert Hill Castle.

And a snow level. Good thing snow =/= ice.

Bugs:

Anything listed here, except 4, 5, and 6

This now also applies to 2-5 and 2-6

Path leading 2-6 doesn't reveal.

3-A and 3-2 Don't have names yet.

Anyways I hope you look forward to this, and I hope I actually get what I want to get done for Summer C3 2015.

Okay, so I played through the first two worlds, and based on what I saw, I figure that's enough.

The main problem with this—and this is a huge problem for re- or demakes—is that the levels don't even resemble the originals. Everything that was not easily transferable from NSMB is simply left out, and that leaves levels that are empty and not fun.

There is quite a lot of problems with the levels, but it all boils down to one thing: nothing really works. The graphics are all over the place and clash wildly, tiles don't work how they look like they would, and it doesn't look like anything was actually tested.

A proper demake of NSMB is going to require a ton of ASM, graphics, and spritework. Based solely on what I've played of this so far, you don't have the skills necessary to do that. Perhaps this isn't a good project for you right now.
To reply to what you said, TRS, most of the sprites that are missing are missing, because nobody has made an SMW sprite for them. Plus I am only one guy. Anyways, here's a list of sprites missing

Spin Block
Sushi
Sushi Generator
Lakitu Generator
Yoshi's Island Flippers (The ones that are only one-way)
Ground Piranha Plants
Giant Ground Piranha Plants
A generator that causes the tide to rise when a P-switch is pressed that actually works
Cheep Cheep with a Coin Trail
3 Platform Spinners from Donut Plains 3 that work in vertical levels.
Cheep Cheep Generator
Giant Cheep Cheep

Also I tried to get Pile Driver Micro Goombas in 2-5, but the game crashed if I inserted them.

The point is, ASM is NOT my strong suit, and if you expect something better, I'm sorry. also

Note that this was indeed a bit rushed for Winter C3.
