Well, it is (obviously) Star Road! After getting 120 stars you'll be able to get up to that island, hop in that star and head to Star World! From Star World you will be able to access special seeccreeeeet features! INCLUDING:

Super Hard Levels!

and

DLC MODE.

Yup! DLC castle exists in Star World! When first entering, there won't be much of anything there.....BUT, every now and again i'll be releasing DLC patches, adding extra bonus content such as altered HUBs, brand new levels, even additional castles, all available in Star World!

Of course star world will have more then that, but for now i'll keep the rest a seecreeeeet......

MilleniumBOOigi you are awesome adding dlc now this hack has got serious with dlc in it wow, but how are you going to put more levels, more stuff and of course do all of that?

Hopefully you can do it. I'm counting on you to make the best hack ever! #smw{x_x}#smw{B)}
UPDATE!!! Star World can now be accessed ANY TIME after opening the final boss level, no longer d oyou need 120 stars to get to it. I figure people won't want to take the time to get 120 stars to play the DLC.....so minimum stars for starworld are about 60-70 to access. THOUGH, some features of Star World will be restricted until you get more. DLC can be accessed immediantley after opening star world, no extra stars required. ALTHOUGH, the 3 SuperStar missions can only be accessed from 120+ stars.

Now introducing......

SUPERSTAR MISSIONS

The game in it's original form will include 3 SuperStar missions in StarWorld. These 3 will award an individual star each, at the end of an exceptionally hard platforming challenge, which can take place in either 2, or 3D. More will be added through DLC Castle as time goes on, so keep an eye out or updates on new DLC.

More new features!?!? what is this?

CHAMPIONS GAUNTLET
Want another challenge? Bored waiting for a new DLC? WELL THEN, CHAMPIONS GAUNTLET IS HERE FOR YOU! Rush through all the bosses of the game along with small mini levels before them. With limited coins and healing areas, and the fact you have to go through it all in ONE GO, will the 7 stars be worth it?

DLC 1: Retro Rampage

Thats right Retro Rampage will be the first DLC! Enjoy 3 retro based 2D levels, each complete with a star! This DLC will be released a week or so after the hack's release to give people time to beat the game to access star world.

More updates to come!

how about starting on the hack before announcing DLCs? lol.
I thought of that but it's just the first of many, just one thats gonna come soon after release so DLC castle isn't totally usless for like months after release, lol.

Updatezzzz

So I overhauled a ton of stuff, got rid of everything in the forest area and making new stuff that actually looks presentable, made the world actually traversal, fixed glitches, made things not ugly, added transitioning textures, and built a whole new light house in place of the old one! *phew*

Ew it's so gross.......it looks like it's rusted over the years and grown moss. Why does THIS have to be the entrance to the new lighthouse? Yuck.....

Castle 1: Mad Mechanical Underground + Light House.

No door on the light house, so looks like mario is gonna have to go the maintenance tunnel, which coincidentally looks AND smells like a sewer! How niiiiice.......

Cool you used some texture from Banjo Kazooie of Rusty Bucket Bay.
How nice and that's cool going through a sewer to get to the lighthouse now that sounds interesting maybe use the music changer in the sewers for Rougeport Sewers.
Modelling is looking pretty cool so far but one critique I might have is that the overall texture color palette seems a bit mismatched/unnatural looking in places.

And mosky, please avoid quoting large images, or at least try something like this for your layout, so you wouldn't need to worry about it:

Header:
Code
<style>
.mosky2000 .quote img {max-width: 100px; height:auto;}
</style>
<div class="mosky2000">

Footer:
Code
</div>

(It makes images within quotes become thumbnails)
Each of the 3 major hub areas will use music changer to change music. :)

And yes, the textures are a teeny bit mismatched at times but it adds sort of uniqueness to each area. If you could point out of a few of the areas you have noticed with mismatching tell me, i'll see if i can make it look better or not.

Okay, but it's better with the image because you're explaining or telling what the image can be about or if there is something that you want to say like cool, needs to have a little work, and nice modeling there. :D

Or take the more difficult route and do it manualy, by selecting texture position.

Oh Kaze, please join the Seams Police.
Anyways, there is something about your choice of textures that puts me off, like the brick with green dirt molds merging with the metal, it would make or sense to just texture with metal too, if you need help in improving your skps and adding more details and giving some touch ups to your textures, you know who to contact.
Anyways, nice work, I'm loving it.
