Sorry everyone, no screenshot today. I'm just here to tell about some plans on my hack.

Here's the level plan:
+ Stage 1: Grassy Level
+ Stage 2: Sky Level
+ Stage 3: "I Hate Metroid"
+ Stage 4: Forest Level
+ Stage 5: Undecided, but will be a breather stage
+ Stage 6: Temple Level
+ A non-level "Rest Place"
+ Stage 7 is the water level I shown some screenshot long time ago.
+ Stage 8 is the level in the preview yesterday
+ Stage 9: "Gatekeeper" Level
+ Stage 10: Final Level

Also, at the final part of temple level & final stage, Mario can't jump because he's exhausted.

Lol, but unless you have come up with something a bit more original that none of the others did, it's hard to get excited about another Metroid based stage.

Makes sense even tho it's quickly becoming overused. Gives the hack's title an apt meaning. So I guess from there to the final stage he either gets rest or drinks a bunch of protein shakes?

He'll take a long rest after stage 6 & have enough energy until the final part of final stage.

He meant that, if necessary, you should try not to be influenced by MMD2's Gatekeeper level and Megalomania; as in, layer 2, Metroids and other stuff that are in those levels. Either way, can't wait to see how the Metroid based level is going to be.

Well, I redoned the water level once again (The older versions is NOT EVEN a water level IMO) and I hope this is the final attemp on on this level.

Anyway, this will be level 2, and level 7 will be something else. Also, level 5 will be a cave.
Fish styx III looks really good, not the most original thing though. Keep up the good work

Yes, this hack will have 10 levels.

Anyway, is there a way to have a different pallete for metroid? I want to have green metroid (safe), yellow metroid (hurt) and red metroid (kill) at the same room.

Mess with the fifth byte (166E) of the sprite's CFG file. Just open the file in spritetool's CFG editor to change it.

The slowdown at parts of the beginning made it tedious to watch. And the emphasis on waitin is a little...eh...

Otherwise, I kinda liked it.
Very creative level you've gotten so far, good job! :3 I love how you did that Kaizo trap at the end.

You could give FastROM a try to get rid of that slowdown found in some bits (it's under Options; use one of the two options that say something about that patch inside Lunar Magic itself if you're using one of the new versions).

EDIT: or if that still doesn't work, remove some sprites to decrease the slowdown a bit.

Wow, I love this level. Amazing stuff!

One sincere warning though: there are some evil people out there (*cough* me *cough*) who will sacrifice powerups to keep Yoshi, and then skip parts of the level. If you don't want this you should be more careful with your Yoshi's, I see several problems so far...

I haven't noticed any break related to Yoshi so far. Can you point them out?
