Level 16 (World 3) - Buzzy Bridge (complete, still taking suggestions for music)

Well, since most of Swampland Passage has been fixed, I've decided to move on to another level, Buzzy Bridge. This stage doesn't really have a ton of things wrong with it, so I've tried to keep changes to a minimum. Much like Swampland Passage, the music doesn't really seem to fit the level. I don't really think Drill Man's theme is the best choice for this level. I've done a quick scan of the music section and have picked three candidates to replace the current song.

CUSTOM - SMW Cave Icy Remix (I'm specifically looking at the L&H icy mix)

CUSTOM - SMW & SMB Cave Remix

CUSTOM - VLDC Cave 1 Remix

That being said if you have any other ideas for songs, let me know.

List of Changes
- Changed the end of the level to remove the P-switch babysitting at the end.
- Moved 5th dragon coin
- Increased time limit by 50 seconds
- Various small sprite changes

This plays pretty well. Then again, I don't recall it needing much work beyond scrapping the arbitrary p-switch at the end. A couple of things, though:

--Areas like the bottom of screens D and F seem like pointless detours. D is a lot of effort for a few coins, and in F there's no reason you'd want to go down there. There are various ways you could address this; I just thought it was worth mentioning.
--Having a great big block of stone above you on screen 13 | 14 feels kind of plain. I wonder if it would be better to shorten that passageway and move the goal up a screen?

As for music, I'm not sure. The first two fit the level but are based on songs I personally find stale, whereas the third sounds nice but is probably too upbeat for the stage. See what others think, but here are a few other suggestions- again, assuming we can get them ported.

Super Castlevania IV - The Cave
Lode Runner: The Legend Returns - Fungus Delvings
Lode Runner Online: Mad Monks' Revenge - Reef World
Anodyne - Hotel

I fixed all of these things in the latest IPS. I think I'll just sit on the music question for now, the first thing I want to get done is fixing up the small level design issues.

List of Changes from previous IPS
- Unnecessary detours have been eliminated
- End has been reworked to be less plain

I like it. It seems good for world 3 difficulty now.

Few problems though. For one, I think the dropping buzzy sprites need a little work. They're prone to vanishing and reappearing, and the dropping feels... slow? Wrong? Not sure how to describe it. This is a problem that the original had though. Never liked those beetles.

Also, there's floating platforms in the water on screens 3 and 4 that are really tough to reach, that really offer no reward. I'd remove them or make them inaccessible like the one on the screen beforehand.

And as mentioned in IRC, I think the Yoshi coins need a bit of moving. They're, for the most part, along your path and jump trajectory to complete the jumps normally.

Yeah, they definitely don't feel like the original SMB3 version. It would be nice to modify the ASM file at some point, if anyone's willing to look through it.

Both of these issues have been fixed. Assuming there are no other issues, I'll go ahead and send the MWL to SNN.
