Thank you Mikau. :o) Here is how it looks now!
I hope you get my reference, Superzora. :o) Everyone know Mikau is a hell of a Zora... I guess.
There is a third building, but it's on the upper field and it doesn't fit in one screen of the application, so it's a mystery. :o)
To answer you here how I work: When I work on a new area(a area I never saw the tileset, for example, the tileset of nimbus land, I've never worked on it). First I try to understand the pattern. If I can't figure out, then I take a peek with the already existing level(I draw beside it)(Note that I always have already an idea on how a level will looks approximately). Once I'm confident with myself, I erase everything that existed in the original(that's what I did with the current level I'm drawing) and I start drawing, tile by tile AND layer by layer(There is two layer to take account(the third one is rare).
In summary: First I figure it out on the go, then I draw.
It's not that bad because the entire game is isometric, so you get used to it. ^^ I developed some tips as I work on it.
So far, my levels is divided in three categories:
Some levels, I drew it completely from scratch since I figured out the pattern with the tileset and the game didn't have anything as close as I wanted. Currently, I can draw from scratch levels that is like on the precedent screen, interior and the ships(for the ship, I did a lot of work on the ships before), moleville(somewhat) and the levels like mushroom kingdom.
.
In other levels, I just modify a little bit. This applied to some interior levels. They had everything almost perfect. :o) So... I took them and I modified them.
In some rare levels, it was perfect, just perfect. The sanctary of the church thingy for example is a level I didn't modify... or the Dojo in Monstro town.
Between, there is a way to work less tile by tile. Lazy Shell has a feature that allows to save a template. Say you like a house, but don't know how or (want )to redraw it, you can save it in a template and draw every single house 4 times in a beating. However, they are identical. So...
If you want more detail on it, I suggest you ask on the
