Super Mario Boss Battles (SM64 Hack) [C3 Submission]

Hello! Today I present my first submission to C3. I call it, Super Mario Boss Battles. It is a Super Mario 64 mini-hack in which you fight all of the main bosses in the game, in new arenas*!

I hope you guys enjoy what I have to offer and hopefully enjoy my future hacks!

*Some bosses (like Eyerok) could not have new arenas due to the boss not working on it
Finished it! It was pretty enjoyable. I was going to do something similar but with mystery boxes from SM3DW for C3, but didn't have the time. The one thing I found was that if you die during a battle, you keep dying on that level, forcing me to reset.

Haha oh well you got right through my idea. I was going to make a Boss-Rush Battle hack for the original SM64 (Where you get to battle every boss with no recovery). But, I still don't know if I should make it as a mini hack.

But hey, I got to handed to you. That's a nice idea for a hack!
Thanks guys! if you want to, could you nominate me on the Ropebox?
Not sure if you saw what I wrote on the other thread. I'll repost it here.

I really like the idea of this hack and the stages look pretty decent too, but you should have added more difficulty. There are informations about how to make King Bob-Omb & King Whomp have more life and other datas about them. And you could have made the stages of the other bosses much harder. But other than that, it was a nice little hack and I enjoyed it.

EDIT: I forgot to say that I liked the music #tb{:DD}

Yes indeed there is some cheats you can force on game that could raise the bosses difficulty. (Make Bob-Omb 2x faster for example) You can use cheat code interpreter to force cheat codes on any of your SM64 hack.

Yes, I did see what you wrote, haha.

And yeah, I just didn't know how to do that, but I guess I could raise the difficulty on v1.1?

Do you mind making a PPF for this? I can't patch BPS.

Do you have the program to patch BPS files?

Also, I might create a PPF file, although I honestly prefer BPS.

Go to the tool section and get FLIPS and patch the .bps with that.

Yes, you can. By downloading this:

And actually read the tutorial I wrote... That really shouldn't be hard.

To apply a BPS Patch:

Also nice hack, Megaman. And it's nice to see that hacks are now posted in BPS. It's way better and it doesn't need you to extend+expand the ROM yourself. It's good that you did it like in the tutorial and took a "clean", completely unextended and unexpanded SM64 ROM as "Original, Unmodified File", because this means that the person who downloaded the patch just needs to apply the patch over a clean 8MB SM64 ROM which wasn't possible with PPF Patches before. Some people who made BPS Patches, mistakenly took a fresh extended+expanded SM64 ROM as Original File, which forced the user who downloads the patch to also extend+expand his/her SM64 ROM. So, congratulations that actually one could do it right.

Greetings
Tarek701.

Nice work! Long time I haven't played a SM64 hack this new since I was too busy with my hack, I sorta bring it out for C3, but I couldn't.

Again, the music is well-fitting to the bosses (except the kick-n'-out Bowser battle theme), and I hope to see more of this; and to my personal taste, you need add a time trial system for the boss rush in case to speedrunners to beat records! #w{=3}
SUPER CRASH TIME YEAH!
Again, thanks guys!

Sorry if I keep bothering you about this but if you guys nominate me in the Ropebox, it could help me for C3.

Also, I will fix the death bug and increase the difficulty of the Bob-Omb King and the Whomp Boss.
