lower the death floor by a TON (like 20,000 depending on how deep the slide goes down.) My guess is the slide goes underneath the level and goes through the death floor, so when you jump you land on / below death floor.

I know this is not the problem, cause I can go lower if I'm on solid ground. When theres not any floor under me, however, I automatically die.

Edit: For whatever reason, it works now, idk what I did xD

Help! Whenever I try to move mario up or down a hill in my level there is an invisible wall stopping mario from moving on the hill. What do I do?

it depends on how the polygons are shaped.
How do you change the it's a me mario noise on the title screen?

You can insert import sounds using SubDrag N64 SoundTool.

On the right side of the menu you'll see the import and export option in both Wav. and Raw (recommend using Raw)

Open up "SM64 (U)" -> Change "Instruments" to 000A -> Change "Sound" to 0008 (click play you will hear "It-a-me Mario!")

At this point you can import sounds from other n64 games although sometimes imported sounds come out sounding compress. Or you can move sounds within the same sound bank.

When you are done hit "Inject in place" then save your rom under a different name. (just in case)
I'm running into yet another problem. This time, when I try to move Mario to go to this part of a level I made there is an invisible wall. This is NOT the level boundaries because I checked in the importer. Does anyone have a solution?

its really hard to tell since we don't know how this level looks. its most likely due to polygons which aren't touching eachother. but problems like this variable from model to model. can you please show a picture of the part of the model in question?
This is the part of the model in sketchup (the invisible wall part is circled):

Its the bridge merging with that wall, go under it and delete the face blocking you from seeing the inside of the bridge, if you get me...

You also have to export edges.

The level geometry works now, but some custom textures aren't working. (They are replaced by HMC textures) These textures are from the Mario Party 64 rips on this forum. Why aren't they working?

What texture format are they in? BMP or PNG?

BMP. I think that's the right format?

How do I fix this error:

Property not found

#texture

Script Error. Continue?

It pops up every time I open the Inside Castle level (I imported it, however, it was previously working just fine).
Import your model without textures/materials, open it in TT64 and place the objects you want. After that import it with textures.
What are the max level boundaries when they are extended? Like 350ft x 350ft?
I don't even give a shit about this website anymore
How do you put rom hacks on the internet for other people to download legally? Just wondering

By making a PPF or BPS patch file and distributing that.

Thank you. I would choose BPS. It's fast and doesn't need the downloader to extend+expand their ROM, which was the case with PPF. They simply download FLIPS (Float IPS v1.12 under "Tools"), open up and apply the patch (made with 8MB Original and 65MB Modified) simply to the 8MB SM64 ROM. Extended+Expanded already and ready to be used in PJ64.

Does anyone know where in the ROM I could find the code that implements world gravity? That would be great.
