Games that you want to play but haven't yet

Do you have a list of games you want to get and play eventually that you've thus far missed out on or only played a little bit? I have a pretty good-sized list. (Oh, yeah, and I guess I should mention that I don't actually have a a PS3, PSP, Vita, Xbox 360, Genesis, or Dreamcast.)

Dreamcast: Grandia 2, Evolution: The World of Sacred Device, Super Magnetic Neo

PC: RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Zoombinis: Mountain Rescue, Zoombinis: Island Odyssey, *Worms Armageddon, *Septerra Core

My reasoning behind them...
- Kirby, Zelda, Castlevania: As well-known as these series are, I have had very little exposure to them. I'd like to see what they're all about.
- Bomberman, Sparkster, Mystical Ninja: These aren't as well-known, but I'd like to try them as well.
- Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, The World Ends With You: I've heard a lot about these RPGs...I actually have played a bit of Chrono Trigger on an emulator, though I lost my save file; if I were to buy it, I'd almost have to get the DS version, since the SNES version is so darn expensive. I also have Earthbound on the Wii U Virtual Console.
- Lufia 2: I actually have played about half of this through emulation, though again, I lost my save file. It was a decent enough RPG, and it definitely gets points for having pre-existing encounters (at least in dungeons).
- Silicon Valley, Rocket, Duck Dodgers: Somewhat obscure 3D platformers that might be worth trying.
- Mischief Makers, Tigger: Among the very few 2D games on the Nintendo 64, so I'd like to give them a shot.
- Aidyn Chronicles: An RPG on the N64?! This is noteworthy for that reason alone...
- Mega Man Network stuff: These look interesting, though I wonder if I should play Battle Network before Network Transmission...
- MMX Command Mission: A Mega Man X RPG? Might be worth a try, though I wish it didn't have random encounters...
- Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: Well, it's a Donkey Kong game and one of the few 2D games on the GameCube, so why not?
- Tales: I do want to try the Tales series, and I figure this would be a decent place to start (better than Abyss, and I don't have an Xbox 360 for Vesperia anyway).
- Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Jett Rocket, Ape Escape, Super Magnetic Neo: 3D platformers (or at least something like platformers) that might be worth a try.
- Skies of Arcadia, Arc Rise Fantasia, Opoona, Evolution, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, Ape Quest, Hexyz Force, Septerra Core, Star Ocean, Xenosaga: A bunch of RPGs that might be worth a try. On the subject of individual ones, I'd probably want to start with Persona 4, I'd probably want the Xbox 360 version of Eternal Sonata just because I've heard that the PS3 version is a lot easier, and I'm not sure whether or not I should start with the first Star Ocean (I'm guessing if I did, I'd need the ROM and a translation patch).
- Super Mario Galaxy 2: Well, I didn't like the original Super Mario Galaxy, but isn't this one at least a little bit more of a platformer rather than an item-collecting action-adventure game?
- Toy Story 3: I don't know what genre this is, but I liked the first one and at least own the second, so why not try the third?
- Wario Land: I'm not sure on this, though I'll admit I've never played a Wario game.
- Rayman Legends: I do like 2D platformers. My only worry is that I didn't care all that much for Rayman Origins, so...
- Klonoa 1/2: More platformers that look like they could be interesting.
- Kartia: A tactical RPG. I figure I'll try this and the Luminous Arc games to judge whether or not I like SRPGs.
- Lunar 2, Grandia 2/3: I doubt I wouldn't get these, since I have the first one and liked what I've played so far (even if that isn't much). It would be nice to get Grandia 2 on the Dreamcast, though.
- Jak, Ratchet, Sly: Would you believe I've never played any of these? Considering how much I like platformers (please tell me these aren't just 3D action games or collectathons masquerading as platformers...), I'd like to try all three series.
- Kya, Brave, Legend of Kay: Obscure 3D platformers or something like them that looked interesting, Kya especially.
- Persona, Mana Khemia, Atelier, Ni No Kuni: More RPGs. I really want to try these.
- LittleBigPlanet, Puppeteer: About the only 2D platformers I could find on the PS3, so definitely worth checking out.
- Sonic: Well, I've never cared all that much for Sonic (running through every level at warp speed all over the place is not exactly my style), but I might try one of the ones that I've never played.
- Ristar: A Genesis 2D platformer that looks like it could be pretty interesting.
- Vectorman, Pulseman: These also look like they could be interesting, though I might have to get the latter on the VC since the original was apparently released only in Japan.
- GB and GBC Mega Man games, Mega Man Powered Up: I liked their NES and SNES counterparts, so why not?
- Shantae: I actually do have this on the 3DS VC, though I have to put up with the moronic controls there.
- Mega Man Zero 1/2: I liked MMZ4 and thought 3 was okay, so I might get these. From emulating them, I remember them being brutally difficult, though...
- GBA Spyro, Klonoa, and Sonic: Might be worth a try.
- FF5 Advance: I've never been much of a fan of Final Fantasy, and the problems I have with the series are pretty widespread throughout them. I figure this might not be a bad choice if I tried to learn to put up with those things, though, since I liked Bravely Default and it has been compared to FF5.
- Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission: I feel like giving Metroid another try now that I have a bit more of an idea how it works, though Fusion seems like it might freak me out.
- Mega Man ZX Advent: Considering I very much liked the original, the only reason I haven't already gotten this is that I don't have any money.
- Rune Factory: Another RPG (...or...something?) that I've never tried that might be worth checking out.
- SMT4: Another RPG, though I'd not be as willing to try this as I would Persona, since the main thing I know about Shin Megami Tensei games is that they're supposed to be excruciatingly difficult.
- Kid Icarus: One of those games that I'd only try if I could get it cheap because I might end up completely hating it...but worth a try nevertheless.
- Gravity Rush: Possibly the only Vita exclusive that looks interesting, which also means there is no chance of me getting it until the console has a better library.
- RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Zoombinis, Worms: I've played and enjoyed other games in the series.

Also, games that I might or might not get:

DuckTales, Adventure Island, Mega Man, Super Mario Bros. 1-3, The Magical Quest 3, Final Fantasy 4/6/Mystic Quest, Earthworm Jim, StarFox 2, Kirby's Dream Land 3, Earthworm Jim 3, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Super Smash Bros., Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin, Evolution Worlds, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Mario Kart Wii, Xenoblade, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Kirby's Return to Dream Land, The Wonderful 101, Final Fantasy 9, Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy 10, Tales of the Abyss, Grandia 2, Eternal Sonata, Super Mario Land 1-3, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Mario Kart DS, Kirby Triple Deluxe

- DuckTales, Evolution, Grandia 2, Eternal Sonata: I might not get the original NES DuckTales, the GameCube version of Evolution, the PS2 version of Grandia 2, and the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata because the other versions might be better.
- Adventure Island: I thought this looked fun until I found out you have to be constantly running forward so you don't starve...what the heck?! That sounds obnoxious.
- Mega Man: I do want to play this on the original console eventually, though considering I've already played it in a few other forms, it's not a huge priority.
- SMB1-3: I already have the (better) SNES versions of SMB1-3, so I probably don't need the NES versions.
- Earthworm Jim 1 and 3: Well, the second game is all right, though from what I've played of the others, they don't seem to be nearly as good.
- Magical Quest 3: While the SNES version would be nice (I do have the GBA version), it was never released in America, so I could only get this if a repro site put one together.
- Final Fantasy: Well, see my comments about Final Fantasy earlier...though apparently Mystic Quest at least doesn't have random encounters.
- Final Fantasy Tactics: See my comments about Kartia.
- StarFox 2: This would probably be more for other family members, since I didn't care for the original StarFox much. That and the fact that I'd have to find a hacked translation make this low priority.
- Kirby, Zelda, Tales, Chrono Cross: Holding off on these until I play others in the series.
- Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart: I'll probably get these eventually, but they're not a huge priority.
- Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin: I'm not at all sure I'd like either of these playstyles.
- Crash: I already have the PS2 version, so getting the GameCube version would probably only be to compare the differences, and if that one turns out to be better, I might use it if I LP the game. (At least it's cheap.)
- Xenoblade: I currently have a copy of this borrowed from a friend. What I played was fairly boring, though (the story wasn't, but the gameplay was), so I doubt I'd buy it for myself.
- Xenogears: I might get this after playing Xenosaga if I like it, but...random encounters. We know how I feel about those...
- W101: Another case of "looks interesting, but I'm not sure I'd like the playstyle".
- SML1-3: Well, I've already done a full blind LP of SML2, and the others aren't terribly high priority.

Phew, that was a lot of text. (If this were GameFAQs, I would have had to split it up into several posts. I'm sorry, but 4096 characters is WAY too limiting.) In any case, that's my list, more or less. Assume I have absolutely zero games in mind for any console that isn't listed. How about everyone else? And feel free to comment on mine or anyone else's.

----------------

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.
I've got a rather small list but those games are on my list but those games I want to play but I currently haven't:
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Kirby Tripple Deluxe
The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap Got it!
Wario Land 4
Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate

Upcoming games:
Mario Kart 8 Got it!
Super Smash Bros U

Unsure games (i.e. games I don't know if I ever will play it or don't know, which one should play):
A retro Kirby (i.e. a Kirby game at the Nintendo E-Shop for the Wii U.)
I'll just go with the older games I missed:
-Metroid Prime
-Mario & Luigi Series
-Super Mario Galaxy
-Final Fantasy
Thanks for making me realize how many games I still need to play.

-Blaster Master (NES)
-Journey to Silius (NES)
-Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (SNES)
-Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1)
-Final Fantasy VII (PS1)
-Xenogears (PS1)
-Ico (PS2)
-MadWorld (Wii)
-deBlob or whatever it's called (Wii)
-Kirby Mass Attack (DS)
-Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS)
-Pokemon White 2 (DS)
-Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy (3DS)
-Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS)
-Borderlands 2 (PS3)
-The Sly Collection (PS3) <- haven't played any of the Sly games
I really can't think of any at the moment. There's probably some games at the back of my head I'll come up with later, but if there is a game I want to play, it'd probably have come from the last ten years, I guess.

- BlackMageMario
- Final Fantasy's VIII, IX and X;
- Tales of Symphonia
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky (I actually managed to reach
Temporal Spire
in Explorers of Darkness, but didn't get enough items nor useful moves to stand a chance against
Primal Dialga
, so got pretty stuck there. I'll start Explorers of Sky as it has been quite some time I played Darkness, and will also check the extra content it offers.)
- Mario Kart: Double Dash
- Luigi's Mansion
- Super Metroid
- Metal Gear Solid
- Mother 3

(Not including the ones I still need to buy, or upcoming titles.)

Will probably edit this later.
Games that I own but haven't played yet/have only played a tiny bit:
- Kirby's Return to Dreamland (Wii)
- Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)
- Super Mario 3D World (WiiU)
- 999 (DS)
- Kid Icarus Uprising (3DS)
- Pokemon Y (3DS)
- Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 3: Gates to Infinity (3DS)
- Entire Metal Gear Solid series (PS3 legacy collection)
- The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (PS3)
- Icco/Shadow of the Colossus (PS3 collection)
- Starbound (PC)
- Psychonauts (PC)
- Most of the Assassins Creed series (PS3/WiiU)

Games that I haven't gotten yet but want to:
- Chrono Trigger (SNES) / Chrono Cross (PS1)
- Entire Professor Layton series except the first (DS, maybe 3DS?)
- Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS)
- Entire Metroid Prime series (Wii collection)
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (WiiU)
- VVVVVV (various platforms)
- Entire MT/SMT series (various platforms)
- at least 100 games that thy and derpybackslide keep telling me i need to play
- at least 1000 games that i can't remember right now
Most of these are Playstation, for the simple reason that PS+ is a bitch.

PS3:
Ninja Gaiden Σ: I have played it, but only barely.
Borderlands 2: See above.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen: See above. Also, Dark Arisen removes this music that is both ridiculous and fucking dope.
Demon's Souls: I wanna try this, even though I have Dark Souls because I think i'd probably prefer it's structure considering I had no idea what the fuck I was doing in Dark Souls.
Bioshock Infinite: Seems cool and the ending is meant to be crazy, but...I dunno, i've never felt like playing it.
Ico & Shadow of the Colossus: Again, never got around to it.
Okami: Apperently takes 33 hours, which is a long ass time for me.
Uncharted 3: Played the Vita game, didn't like at all, but then again that IS a cut-down version, so I might give it a shot.
Tomb Raider: A bit reluctant because I might wanna get the PS4 version, but i'm not sure yet.
Spec Ops: The Line: Read too many spoilers, unfortunately.
Guacamelee: Never felt in the mood.
Jak & Daxter Trilogy: Never got around to it.
The Last of Us: Not played it as much as I really should have

PS4:
Stick it to the Man: Quite like the look of it, busy with Killzone.
Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag: Had it traded for Killzone, will get it back at some point
Don't Starve: Like the look of it, but I'll have to look at the wiki.
Rayman Legends: Again, I've played it but not as much as I should have

Vita:
Everybody's Golf: Because I couldn't fit it on my memory stick. They are the worst thing Sony has done in a while.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend: Casuality of clearing the memory stick.
Gone Home: An adventure game with a heavy focus on story. I heard that it was praised by many critics but players were a bit more divisive in their opinions.

The Walking Dead (by Telltale Games): An episodic series of horror-themed point-and-click adventure games. Usually these types of games are light and funny so this seems like an interesting twist.

Sam & Max: Season 3: Another point-and-click adventure game series. I played Season 1 and 2 on the Wii and they were quite amusing. Season 3 never made it to Wii, perhaps someday I will check it out on PC.
All PC because I don't own any consoles

Alan Wake
Castle Crashers
Dead Island
Dead Space
Deus Ex
Mirror's Edge
Torchlight II
Borderlands 1 (I played 2)
Saints Row 3
Sanctum 2

Games like Alan Wake, Borderlands, Castle Crashers, Sanctum 2, and Torchlight II are games that I haven't been able to play because I've been so busy with school and extracurriculars that I haven't been able to feel a drive to play these games. They're probably good, and I want to play them sometime, but they don't fit my tastes the instant it comes time for me to choose a game I want to play.

Games like Deus Ex, Dead Island, Mirror's Edge, and Saints Row are games I haven't been able to play mainly because my computer isn't strong enough to play these without experiencing some bits of lag or they don't run. It's hard to play games with lag, and these games are games that are pretty much impossible to play on the computer I own. Saints Row in particular has a problem with crashing on startup on my computer, so I haven't even been able to start it up.

Games like Sanctum 2 I want to try out, but I don't have any friends that I hang out with online that own the game. I might ask the friends I play games with to get it.
- Mega Turrican, Super Turrican and Super Turrican 2;
- Fallout 3;
- Metroid Prime series;
- Metroid Zero Mission;
- Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga (on an actual GBA);
- Wario Land 4 (^);
- Jak and Daxter series;
- Demon's Souls (though I have no PS3, nor do I intend to acquire one at this point, so no freaking clue how I would get to play this);
- Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (never played the first one either, but I hear so much praise for this one that it easily catches more of my attention);
- Megaman X3 onwards.

There are probably plenty of other games I want to give a go, but these are the ones on the top of my list, so to speak.
Driver: San Francisco: I've wanted this game ever since I watched kurtjmac play though it two years ago. It's essentially an open-world driving game where you try to stop some evil criminal guy from doing criminal stuff. The really cool gimmick is your ability to jump around the city's cars at will.

Child of Light: ProtonJon reviewed this game a few weeks ago, and it looks like a very well-polished, beautiful game.

Both for PC because consoles are for plebs my dad never let us have a console because he though it would be too distracting (and he was totally 100.00% right about that, too)

-9 hours 9 persons 9 doors
-Alan Wake (might be able to play it if I want since I have family sharing on and my sister has it)
-Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
-Yoshi's Island DS (played a little bit but don't remember much)
I'm kinda debating on this one, but:
-Half Life Blue Shift (I kinda do want to play it out of curiosity but at the same time not because it's short and don't have high hopes since I thought Opposing Force was anti-climactic).
Legacy custom music

This layout good as my stories is made by Kagami
I've been meaning to play the original Driver on PS1 for SO LONG and I honestly don't know why I haven't got it yet because they're only about 5 bucks and I've seen all the praise it's had.
- Copy Kitty
- Project Pixlar

That's about it, really (although technically only one has been released)

Just look above you...
If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it!
Manos: The Hands of Fate
