What do you think about my motto, is it true? Do you have a personal motto? Now speak fools, speak. MUAHAHA! (Ok, ignore that last thing)

The motto is in my signature
It's true in my opinion.

There's several sayings I follow as good advice. One of the more prominent ones I use for my life is "Don't expect instant results". I think that's a major reason many people get discouraged when they try things; they're expecting instant gratification. "Patience is a virtue" could go along with that as well.
Don't expect instant results is true and good.
People born on Fridays can be crazy as hell (Hint Hint! *points at Fuzzyfreak*). Funny is that there aren't that many people born on Friday.

Luck is the key to success.
--------> Don't follow "Find Roy's Dignity", my hack. Because it's pretty outdated. <--------
'Luck is the key to success.' Yes, indeed.

A Random Motto I Can Relate To: Thank god you only need 1% inspiration!

I don't really have a true motto, but there are several I can relate to, like that one.

"And that, as they say, is that. But then again, maybe not."
Closest I have to a motto. Well, either that or this:

Especially true for my previous hobby, where no matter how easy I made it, people always found some way to screw it up. -_-

Sorry, about my bad english. Because I'm Indonesian.
"If you have a dream, don't work towards it. Dreams are not reality."
Just back here to browse a bit.
Mottos. I love em.

One of my favorites:
"You reap what you sow. By your hands, you will make your mark on the world"

I have a lone wolf mentality, so this motto resonates with me. Usually, if it's a witty quote, I'd consider it a motto of mine.

Even in my sig, I update with a Quote of the month. It's a quote I live by, not only to show, but also as a constant reminder of what I need to keep in mind for life.

...you'd be suprised at the power of reading mottos.
The most pitiful among men is he who turns his dreams into silver and gold.

-Kahlil Gibran

Money ≠ Success. There are people with all the money in the world, but nothing to spend it on. True success is found in those who are content with their lives.
"Don't be ashamed of what you used to be, don't be satisfied with what you are now, look forward to what you will be."
-WhiteYoshiEgg

I just means something like "Never stop improving". I believe I came up with it, but it's not too hard to think of, so maybe someone else has come up with it before me.

I am satisfied with what I am now
"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."

Patience is a virtue usually murdered by most people, then stuffed in a suitcase and thrown in a river, never to be seen again

~Obsidian Serpent

I like one of Yogi Bera's old sayings: "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." (Okay...)

The following are what I consider mottos. I use them often.

"Obsession is like fire and water. Good servants, bad masters." - Unknown

"I can't even imagine beginning to think about caring." - Myself

"It could be worse: I could be horribly obese." - Myself

"If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing." - Myself

"Don't waste your time, or time will waste you." - The song "Knights of Cydonia" by MUSE

"I don't know half of what I think I do. Nobody does." - Unknown
