That's cool that you've finished some of your levels already. Make sure to show them in the WIP forum, so you can get feedback, tips on how to improve and so on. Make sure to check out other works, too!
Also, if you'd like to have a chatter, come to IRC; it's always nice to meet new people!

I hope you'll have a great time here! :D

Hey thanks for the warm welcome! I've already posted my first three levels in the WIP forum, and I have someone helping me figure out colour palettes. I'm moving right along. :P

Hey look! It's the oldie again!

Yes, it's Lotica here. If you don't remember me, I've been around the site for quite awhile, I think maybe around 2007 or 2006. Yeah, about seven years.

I've done some SMW hacking, but I've never actually completed a hack oddly enough, and my work has impressed some people, even the higher-ups of the site. I decided to maybe work on a new hack and this time, actually try to finish it. I've built up some more patience over the years, and considering that I've finally released a product for a game recently (it was a map for the FPS, Rise of The Triad), I think making something for SMW would be a true test of my patience.

Other than that, I'm just a typical nerd who loves games, movies, books, and so on. Nothing special lolloloo.

Hi Lotica! I remember commenting on your past hacks and they seemed quite good to me. If you actually decide to return to the hacking scene, I will be more than glad to take a look at it. Until then, rest easy and enjoy your time while you are back.
I just realized, I never introduced myself. I'm actually a hacker coming back. I lost my hack a few years ago and could never recover it, which basically disheartened me so much that I quit. Before that, I was extremely talented with coding and ASM. So uh, I already have some leftover skills from that time, but I'm not as good with ASM anymore. I'm trying to rebuild those skills.
Well, hello everyone. My name is Noobius and I am new to SMWCentral.
well, hello Noobius. oddly, your avatar reminds me of someone.

anyways, enjoy your stay! you can read the rules and the f.a.q. section to learn more.
My Inspiring Quotes on Personal Growth and Change:

"Resolved financial/personal problems equal greater growth!"

"The only constant thing in life is change; nothing is set in stone. The old is replaced with the new. Forgive yourself for past mistakes. When many different problems in your life are resolved (personal, financial, etc.), newfound strength and confidence is gained in the process. Usually, failures, lack of assertiveness, disappointments, incompetence, low self-esteem and lack of self-respect, financial struggles, and setbacks can cause us to change and take action to solve any problem, leading to increased strength and confidence. This you learn from experience.

I have been experiencing this aforementioned newfound strength and confidence myself for the past FOUR to EIGHT years or so, getting stronger with each passing year, learning with each mistake I make and becoming more joyful in the process. Because of this newfound confidence I've acquired over the years, finding my passion is of utmost importance in 2022! You can develop this strength and confidence in yourself as well!"

To whoever's reading this, you are amazing and you are capable of doing equally amazing things. Gather confidence and be yourself! Say goodbye to the old you and welcome the new you! It wants to arise every moment, but you don't let it. Learn from your mistakes and never make that mistake again! Find your passion and live it!"

Finding my passion in life, but I may still be active on SMWCentral from time to time. Still enjoy playing many hacks, but I'm widening my perspective on life and opening myself to the new.

Did you find that in suckhacker's Glorious Water's file bin?

You didn't really say much about yourself, so I'm kinda suspicious...

EDIT: I don't know...

Whoa, it's one of the old guard coming back!
Hey my name is angelyoshi34. I'm sorry if I posted this about a week from when I was registered but who cares.

Hi.

Hello angelyoshi34 and welcome to SMW Central. You can introduce yourself whenever you want as long as you are new around here or extremely hidden and virtually invisible since registration. Since you did not give much to go on, all I can say is enjoy your stay and check out all the forums to see what place you want to ask things if you do want to ask anything.

You might want to shorten your "From:" text as it is stretching the tables (on my screen at least).
Hello! My name, I'll never tell, but I am new to hacking. I have been studying the matter for a while, now, but I'm not very experienced.

Actually, I DO have a hack made already that has been released on other parts of the web, but I feel the need to make a few tweaks before I release it here, especially since I haven't really gotten any feedback on it.

Since I'm still somewhat inexperienced, I am planning on putting it in my files, asking for feedback, maybe make a thread about it, and release it for real. Expect it later this month, since I too, sometimes procrastinate, expcially considering what a busy fellow I am.

BTW, sorry about my incredibly stupid username. I was kind of rushing, since I was pressed for time due to certain circumstances, and something about mario was the best I came up with.
I was very surprised to see that m a r i o was already taken, but that's totally beside the point.

My hack should be released very soon, I'm very excited too!

Oh, who am I kidding. I'm NEW. No one's going to be excited by the first hack made by a newcomer. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait.
Hey there, welcome to SMWC. :) As for your hack, please don't let a lack of positive feedback discourage you - we all have to start somewhere, and practice will get you far!

M A R I O is actually a pretty infamous user around here, known for creating a controversial "creepypasta" hack - not gonna lie, I thought your name was a reference to that.

Either way, enjoy your stay! :)

Hello M. A. R. I. O. and welcome to SMW Central! To be honest, your name is quite similar to an infamous user of the past (I thought your username had something to do with that) as WhiteYoshiEgg said. That is behind us however and as we move on, I look forward to seeing what you have in store in the future. Well, enjoy your stay and don't get discouraged if there is a lack of positive feedback, all feedback is important (well, those that are helpful at least) when you make a hack.
Lack of positive feedback? Relax, I meant I didn't really get any feedback at all, not a ton of negative feedback.

There's negative feedback, and I fix the problem! Besides, I like it when there's negative feedback, because it shows that people are being honest with me and not babying me like a little kid.

However....Creepypasta? I've HEARD of it, but I don't know much about it. To be honest, it kind of sounds stupid, especially with "pasta" in the name. But that's a coincidence that's....weird, to say the least, although I might not look up this other guy anytime soon.

But who knows? Maybe this pasta will brainwash me into thinking I AM him.

Or maybe I'm the same guy in disguise.

Anything could happen.

XD
Oh well, anyways welcome to SMW Central, M. A. R. I. O.! Have a great time here. Cou usually puts this for new faces, but guess that I'll put it up for him this time; if you would like to keep in touch with the userbase, please go to irc.caffie.met. and join a channel, preferably #smwc.
Hi there rereg of KTBHacking. We know you've obsessed with M A R I O, but this is definitely taking it a bit far, don't you think?
