Puzzletopia! (A Puzzle Hack)

Well, It's me again! I'm bring you my first puzzle hack ever, the Puzzletopia! This one is a fairly easy puzzle hack that won't need savestate to finish. This hack will contain 5 worlds (4 main world & a special world) and has total of 25 levels. Enjoy!

This actually looks like fun. I'll play it (once the first demo comes out).
- New Story: Mario is going to have a puzzle solving contest, so he decided to improve his brain by learning something about it at Puzzletopia.

PS: I made an minor update to level 1-3 and finished 1-4, but I accidently "create a new post" (in other words, press "new reply" and press the submit button with a blank contains). So, I have to wait for a day...

You could try adding some simple edited tiles for this one here:

To make the bottom of the "arrow" not look so cutoff.

I can't say that I really like the palettes in level 4,
other than that everything looks fine to me.
My hack TEMP is cancelled for now but I started a new

This hack was pretty fun. It has a good "introductory" feel to it. You actually had me thinking on the secret exit of 1-3. I look forward to the next demo.
I think forced hit areas are considered 'unfair', even in puzzle hacks. I also see no use for the other powerups in the castle. Other than that, it is ok, looks enjoyable, I'll play the demo soon.

i think force hit areas are okay in puzzle hacks because it adds an extra layer in the 'what do i do next' factor. i havent played your hack but i love puzzle hacks. i will be severely disappointed if there is no thought into solving the level. the best example i can give was in another puzzle hack which had breakable blocks but you needed to run over the length of a few screens back and forth four times to get a shell and had to repeat this process 3 times to break all the blocks. there was 'no guessing' there was no really thought into 'how do i do this'. theres a difference between tedium and complexity and i hope you realize this too. looks decent. my only suggestion is to make the player have infinite lives but whatever.

I've found a graphical glitch: Why you used castle GFX in a room with Yoshi, even there aren't any castly sprites?
played demo 0.1 and i beat it. it feels like an introduction to those people that aren't so good at puzzle hacks (like i am).

i believe that can be fixed by combining tilesets or going to #lm{gfxby} and making the sprite tileset be compatible with yoshi since you aren't using any sprites in that level besides yoshi.

Finding my passion in life, but I may still be active on SMWCentral from time to time. Still enjoy playing many hacks, but I'm widening my perspective on life and opening myself to the new.
If it is a puzzle, I see no issue with forced hits and power up filtration. After all, you are using your brain to complete levels, so forced damage is meaningless. It is frowned upon in nonpuzzle hacks because it is an artificial way to make it hard, but here, if is okay because it is part of the puzzle.

This hack reminds me of playing Super Puzzle World(but more annoying than this).
Graphical glitch: The goal sphere looks like a bony beetle (I think that's what it's called?).

Thanks everyone for your comment! I'll fix all the problems soon. But just a question: Is there any other way to fix the "allow to take Yoshi away" of the water level beside applying a patch?

Put a no Yoshi intro in every single level. That'll work.
