Brilliant Amazing Mario. (B.A.M) My First Kaizo hack!)

Kaizo

You guys may remember this from here.

Hey everyone! :D BAM is my first Kaizo hack! I put a lot of my own tricks and twists to this hack. I made this hoping for it to be really challenging, but still fun to play. Most kaizo hacks are aimed specifically to frustrate the player, but in my opinion, there isn't much point in playing a game that's not enjoyable.

This is still just a demo so far.

The skills you basically need for this hack are your awesome Super Mario World platforming skills, an open mind, and quick timing.

Here are some screen shots! :D

There are still some bugs, I havent got to them yet.

the kaizo hack looks decent, but there are a lot of misspellings and grammar issues in your messages.
My Inspiring Quotes on Personal Growth and Change:

"Resolved financial/personal problems equal greater growth!"

"The only constant thing in life is change; nothing is set in stone. The old is replaced with the new. Forgive yourself for past mistakes. When many different problems in your life are resolved (personal, financial, etc.), newfound strength and confidence is gained in the process. Usually, failures, lack of assertiveness, disappointments, incompetence, low self-esteem and lack of self-respect, financial struggles, and setbacks can cause us to change and take action to solve any problem, leading to increased strength and confidence. This you learn from experience.

I have been experiencing this aforementioned newfound strength and confidence myself for the past FOUR to EIGHT years or so, getting stronger with each passing year, learning with each mistake I make and becoming more joyful in the process. Because of this newfound confidence I've acquired over the years, finding my passion is of utmost importance in 2022! You can develop this strength and confidence in yourself as well!"

To whoever's reading this, you are amazing and you are capable of doing equally amazing things. Gather confidence and be yourself! Say goodbye to the old you and welcome the new you! It wants to arise every moment, but you don't let it. Learn from your mistakes and never make that mistake again! Find your passion and live it!"

Finding my passion in life, but I may still be active on SMWCentral from time to time. Still enjoy playing many hacks, but I'm widening my perspective on life and opening myself to the new.
Please fix all those floating munchers. There is a reason why kaizo hacks are still not generally accepted.

I'm the only one ever who likes floating munchers apparently.

EDIT:
I agree

I kind of understand the feeling of classic kaizo with floating and stacked munchers, but large structures of plants seen in the last screenshot are really ugly. I also suggest you add some more enemies or something to that level to make it more interesting, plain muncher obstacle courses are frowned upon.

But overall, the hack looks pretty good and intricate, and I like your graphics edits.
I can't beat navigation. I hit all of the blocks in order, and when I try to enter the door it makes the proper noise, but I stay in the same room and nothing happens.

Honestly, I don't mind if there are floating and stacked munchers in a hack, as long as they are not used excessively.

This hack is a great improvement over your previous ones but it still has issues, most of them game-breaking (not to mention they are still there from last time). I can get to all the levels easily since the paths are open.

Navigation was pretty breakable though. I could double-grab both the springboard and the shell and enter on the pipe at the beginning of the level (besides, you could use both of them for something later anyways). I had that same issue of the door, whenever I activate the colored blocks in the correct order it gives a weird effect, thus making it impossible to progress. Double-check your levels to see if everything is working correctly!

Because It's Kaizo has some camera issues; the latest version of LM enables you to move Mario anywhere and it also fixes those issues. The blocks appearing at the bottom row are rather annoying though, as I cannot foresee where can I land.

A Trip Back to SQW doesn't really have anything new. It is just run to the triangle, take the springboard to get to the P-switch (and the shell is not even neeeded) and press it to the goal. Also, why is it slippery?

Patience has some standard balloon riding, but as soon as I get to the second part I cannot proceed because the second blocks has wings inside.

I may have focused on bad aspects on my review, but that doesn't mean this hack is not fun. Of course, there are some pretty good parts but there are also bad ones, and that is a thing that should definitely be fixed. Test your levels more than normal levels, and prevent noticeable breaks. Hope to see an improved version sometime!
Windowless ride, feeling alive
Are you alive or just breathing?
