Looks interesting. I like where you put the secret, nice touch. I'm not sure I agree with putting a thousand and one fishes in teh water that you can't even interact with, especially since it might cause MAJOR SLOWDOWN to appear; still, it looks nice.
I'm very curious how you put the grass over the rock texture. It's pretty ingenious. Your palettes are also pretty cool, although I'm on the fence about the light grass. Maybe change the hue a bit or change it to a different colour? Also, changing the background colours (if you haven't already, I can't tell) would be cool.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks. I tested it, and no major slowdown.
But I rethinked my level, and these fish is unnessessary.
You should put a ceiling on area above the midpoint part, because if the player has a cape, they can fly over and break the level and get go farther ahead than normal.
Ehhh right now it seems very flat and boring from the screenshots you provided. Rather than having that muncher in the last image, add more chainsaws; stuff like that. Add more spice to the level rather than sugar.

This looks quite nice. I am pleased that you are using decoration that is subtle but creates an attractive environment at the same time. Impressive. The only negative thing I can say is that the gradient in most of the screenshots looks a bit bad with the sudden darkness (black color). The first screenshots is better in that aspect as there is no black color there.
