Few questions...

1. Can I get email notifications from these forums when someone has replied? How?

2. Can I change the color of my username? I've seen people's usernames in dark blue, pink, gold, etc.

3. What is the daily lottery here? I couldn't find any info on it. How does it work and what kind of stuff can be won?

Thanks for your reply :)
1. I don't think so. But I might be wrong.
2. Usually colors are dependent on the gender you have inputted (blue for male, pink for female, purple for N/A), but admins and Members of the Month can change their name colors to something else.
3. No clue.

Hope I helped somewhat, and I think someone else can help you with 1 and 3.
Yeah, I was just scrolling through my profile settings and found a section where you could input a number to participate in the daily lottery. No other information about it. Interesting.

Thanks!
1. no. you dont want to either (itd get annoying)

2. what mercurypenny said, except he left out regular staff members

3. its dead, so the number is useless
Actually, I would want to get emails. I find it easier than remembering to check back on each of my threads. Oh well.

Were you here when the lottery was active? How did it used to work? I'm curious...
you dont want to get emails (threads dont autoclose when a problem is solved, nor can you ask a mod to do so. plus, bad luck for you when you make a popular thread, or a zillion threads)

@lottery: basically, each day (or week, i forgot) a random number was chosen. if you had that number, you got a prize (forgot what the prizes were too)
No, I have a separate section in my email for forum replies. They really wouldn't get obtrusive for me. Plus most forums offer the ability to turn off notifications on a certain thread (if it's popular).

Dang it, the lottery sounded cool -_-
You would have to get someone make a script for you if you'd necessarily want e-mail notifications. It isn't a feature built in the site by default.
