Difficult vs Creative (DvsC)

Kaizo

Yep, It's me again. This time, I'll let you enjoy kaizo hack in both a new & original way! This hack is a kaizo hack that have 2 types of level:
+ Difficult: Just do anything to survive through the level (like Kaizo series). The difficult is a bit higher, but the level is simple.
+ Creative: A lot of puzzle using some gimmick to pass (like scrolling screen). The difficult is a bit lower, but the level is quite complex to understand.
Anyway, screenies!

World 1 overworld.

The beginning of level 1 called "Spiny Spin". This level focus on creative.

Screen-scrolling to respawn sprite.

A yoshi inside. The grey outline is an invisible note block

Using spiny to eat the red berries that protected by green berries.

Have fun with spiny!

Slipery glass block.

Blue P-switch is on the other side of forest that required mushroom to get.

God Painful inspiration.

Kaizo trap at the end. This room contain 2 exits, the secret one require a mushroom (can be collected by eating 10 red berries in the previous room).

This looks nice! I remember making a level based on spinies before, and yours look cool. I like how you did the kaizo trap at the end, though you might fix that glitched goal sphere, but it's no big deal, I think. I am also curious on what you're going to do for a difficult level, since you already got more ideas for your first level.

This is merely a suggestion, not a criticism, so feel free to not listen if I am wrong, but if it's possible to spin jump on the Spiny on a particular spot (or x speed) such that you fall off the Spiny right before getting to the key, causing you to walk into the key for the remainder of the goal walk, I might suggest raising the right wall at least one tile to make that mandatory.

I probably would agree if there was some kind of plot point about Mario having to find a severed Wiggler head for whatever reason.

It's not possible to land on the key. The main purpose is to "walk into the key for the remainder of the goal walk". And if I rise the wall, I'll break the secret exit (The spiny can turn around without help of Super Mario)
