Ah~ what a nice timeing, bringing the thread back to life.

I got a "little" update for you. Just kidding... this it pretty major.
In fact, I advice everyone who downloaded V1.0 to update ^^.

So, what are the changes?
Have a list:

- Added "Restore from .pdb" option to the File - Menu
- usage of multipatch files. (see first post for more info on this)
- protection against files (patches and ROMs) with blanks in their names.
- name collision catch. Preventing patches with the same name as already applied ones to be patched offers possibilety to repatch.
- Prevent collision with "print" command and "print:" label
- Fixed Error with Hijacks using declarations
- Added option to patch without EasyP calculating the sizes or interfering with the patch.
- Added option to remove entries from the database without unpatching. Also added the possibilety to delete the list as a whole.
- Fixing some bugs related to patching with asar!
- Added the option for Asar to ignore warnings.

EasyP isn't letting me do anything. "You need to have slogger.exe in the same folder as EasyP.exe You can dosnload it from SMWCentral.net's Tool section" and it came with it, so it's in the same folder.

What's going on here?
Well, I just tried it with the exact file from the .zip I uploaded and it works fine.
Are you sure you have them in the same folder? Like, did you try running the exe from the .zip file without unzipping everyhting first?
I take it the error occures whenever you try to patch, doesn't it?
Also, try for xase sensivity. So, just in case you have capital letters in it.

Everything is like what you said. It gives me that error every single time I try to insert a patch. It's all in the same folder, even the slogger that came with the program.
you have it setup like that? (with the patches being in the folders they belong to)

The error has to be somewhere with you, I just tested it with miss Mirann and it worked fine for her too

Other than the fact than the ROM and folders are in another folder, yeah. It should be working - EasyP even put the xkas and asar folders in there.

I have no dang clue what the heck is going on.

Wait, what? The ROM you want to patch to can be anywhere ok, but what folders are you talking about.

Anyway, maybe you can just try to redownload it, or maybe post a screenshot of your folder. The only thing I can say for sure, that the problem is not with the tool, as it works for others.

What?

(PS: the folders were scrolled all the way down.)

This wont help you at all, I bet (unless you made it incompatible with XP).
Well, you could have changed the way they are viewed from symbols to list in the folders, but anyway.
Also, if you wanna keep your name secret, you should do it on the second screenshot too

Granted though, you have slogger in the same folder, but there are a lot of other things going on I don't quite understand.
In the first screenshot, you have "Random test ROM.pdb" file (which indicates, that you use this ROM to patch) however the later version should let you use ROMs with blanks in it.
Second, why is that file even in another folder? Did you move it there?
Third, you seem to not have the necessary "clean.smc" in the folder.

As I said, try redownloading it and follow the instruction either in the readme or in the first post. Maybe the errors somehow got mixed up and it's telling you that slogger is missing when it's actually the clean.smc it lacks.

I decided to test this tool on XP, and I must conclude it not functioning. I'm getting a large amount of ridiculous errors.
(That, and it suffers from the BTSD syndrome: Too many buttons, and none of them make it really clear what they do; I can't find which button inserts everything the first time. But whatever that should be blamed on, it's not related to XP.)
Edit: I would like to clarify that, while it just confuses me, I'm sure it works just fine for others, in which case you've done a good job. But it's very rare for a tool to be impossible to improve, so here you go.

Note, that what you'r writing is not a real patch, just a spezail file for EasyP

You need to have a clean SMW ROM, named clean.smc, in the same folder as EasyP.exe which has been expanded to 64 MBit (8 MB).

1. Never ever use megabits. They're just confusing.
2. Since when are clean ROMs 8MB?
3. Why should I expand EasyP.exe to anything at all? Expand it yourself if needed. (Or rewrite that sentence to not sound that weird.)

Missing question mark, missing backslash.

I swear I'm not making this up. (Note how it's triggered on an xkas patch, says xkas, and prints the Asar usage.)

And guess whether Slogger demands .NET 2.0 installed, in addition to EasyP's 4.0. Add it to the depencency list.

If you want, you can poke me on IRC tomorrow and I'll let you play around with one of my XPs through TeamViewer or Remote Desktop or something similar (your choice).

Sorry, I've given up because asar is easier to use than this.

I planned on using this tool for xkas patches, but it would seem that this tool is too complicated and hard to use for me.

I can't use this tool. Because I'm a lazy moron.

Ever.

Anyway, wish you luck on the people who actually have the patience to use this.

Call me whatever you want, this is tc;du* for me.

*Too Complicated; Didn't Use

FAKE EDIT: Yeano Alcaro posted while I was typing. NOTHING TO DO HERE *flies away with jetpack*
