Post deleting

A person who made a thread should be able to delete any post, even if its not there own.
Hey remember me! Me neither!

Currently: Ripping off (what used to be) MercuryPenny's footer, which is also a rip off of someone else's footer, so... I don't know if I'm like stealing a footer sence im ripping of a ripped of footer but...meh. I won't worry about it, and also celebrating 1,000 subs on youtube :D and trying to beat nightmare mode on FNAF3 and 20 mode on FNAF 1 and 2
Give me a reason why would this be any good?
yeah that's just... giving too much power

deleting a post means the user themselves wont be able to see it either. the only people who should have this power are the user who made the post*, or a moderator. some random dude who made a thread should not have that power

*except when the post is the start of a thread. deleting a thread means deleting the posts in it too, which brings us back to the main problem
(Ug. Im failing at posting.)
What if someone clutters it up like this?

PM a mod

alternatively, wait for a mod to discover the thread/post and make their own judgement
Big no. As I have stated on multiple occasions, I do not support the concept of "thread ownership", and the thread creator does, in fact, not have any more right to ask to have a thread closed than any other participant. The obvious exception here is deeply personal threads such as help threads or RC threads.
