Are things less funny when you're alone?

I know, this sounds like a weird title, but whenever I'm by myself watching a funny video, it isn't funny. For example, One day I watched, I Gave My Kids a Terrible Present, and I didn't crack a smile. But on Friday, when my teacher showed it to the class, it suddenly was funny. Am I just weird, or does this happen to you guys too?
Funny, but this happens to me all the time. Stuff I watch on my own isn't as funny to me unless it comes completely out of the blue.
Usually inactive/procrastinating on a hack idea.
Same here.
Things tend to be more funny when there is someone you can laugh with ^^

I find things funnier when I'm alone, oddly enough.
I guess it goes both ways. If you have a weird taste in humor you might find something hilarious alone but be embarrassed to laugh at it with people if they don't find it funny.
Likewise if you want to fit in you might laugh at something with people that you wouldn't find funny alone.
ask me if i give a f*ck...

Most part of the time i don't like to be alone, Except when i'm here or feeling mad.
Yes, because i think when others laugh, we laugh with them by default.
That happens to me a lot too.

However, it also happens to me backwards. Sometimes I see something alone that I feel funny, I see it with someone else and is not funny anymore. And is not funny because I already saw it. I have resistance to repetition.

I'm actually the total opposite. I find myself laughing more at videos or when I'm watching TV when I'm by myself. Though that could be that I have a different sense of humor from most of my friends, which sometimes makes me feel left out haha.

I'm on both sides, I find things funny when I am alone and not alone.

Well, Being alone is OK, But sometimes it just sucks.
I prefer to be alone when on bus blogs (those exist) and anything involving fanart. When there's some comedy on TV, however, it's best to be with someone, even if it is a dog.

and motherfucking yoloswags are not alone.

Depends on the situation. Usually I would like to laugh with others for most things.
I don't know. I mean, I laugh a lot when I'm watching videos/shows on my own, but if I were watching them with someone, I'd probably laugh even harder simply because they're laughing as well. I wouldn't say it makes whatever we're laughing at inherently funnier though.

People tend to laugh 30x more often with enjoyable company rather than if they were alone. I forgot where I heard that, but it does seem true as people laughing is a good relationship strength builder.

Things I watched become funnier when I show it to a friend.
It's always been that way as far as I know.
Things are funny on my own, but way funnier with other people around.
