I think I'm going to beat the record for now. 647 games in total. I won't list everything here but instead link you to my database.
EDIT: Dead links removed.

If you find an error or bad named title, let me know.
Jesus christ am I envious. I'd like to be a serious collector one day too β)

I've been working on my own collection. I'm taking pictures and documenting what I have, but very slowly as I'm also doing it simultaneous to beating every one of them, per system. I completed NES (and then bought Kirby's Adventure and Metroid, hrr):

Ha, you've got the same screw driver to open the games like me. Also, are those PAL or NTSC games? Nice NES collection though. I'm still missing the Zelda series for the NES though. T_T

Also, yay for replacing batteries inside a Pokemon GBA cartridge. :3

EDIT: Dead links removed.

On a side note. I finally found a Famicom to NES converter inside a Stack Up cartridge I bought a few days ago. Hooray! That way I can start collecting sweet famicom games, too. :3
Ah, NTSC, heh. ^^

Replaced the battery? Man.. I tried doing that for the Adventure of Link game. Desoldered the tabs that connected to the battery from the circuit board.. and the tabs themselves appeared to be bolted directly to the battery or something.. I destroyed them trying to remove them, there's absolutely no way I could possibly do it. Ah well, the game works without it regardless, a dead battery's just like an open circuit (I think), and though I could 'try' to fix it by using jumper leads.. I don't know how I could securely attach them to a new battery, and I think I'd have a lot of trouble fitting it back in the cartridge.

byuu's SNES collection likely trumps everyone else's collection here

I am currently selling my US SNES collection. It comprises all 721 retail SNES games released in the US, Mexico and Canada; boxes for every single game; and 85% of all manuals. It does not include NFR and unlicensed games (MBR/SR, DKCC, SFSW, and SNA3D.) It was built up from individual sales, so conditions range from near mint to fair. I took pains to spend more on better conditions for the more prized pieces of the collection.

Every single game has been profesionally cleaned and tested. They all work perfectly.

I built this set to obtain scans and clean verified dumps for every game, which I have now finished. The scans are appearing on snescentral.com, and the improved emulation will appear in the next higan/bsnes release. I will be using 100% of the profits from this sale to do the same for the European and Japanese sets next.

I have taken 42 images of my collection, which you can view here:

*embed*

Larger images: [ Complete US SNES collection images ]

This set represents three years of effort. From scouring every used game store in my home state, to bartering purchases from dozens of vendors online, to enlisting the help of everyone willing to search around their areas to find things for me, to donations of items that are impossible to find for sale anywhere, to hundreds upon hundreds of hours cleaning and polishing everything. I've never seen a set this complete before, and it's unlikely another one will ever surface.

I am asking $19,999 or best offer for everything. The most expensive dozen games alone are worth half of the asking price. For a reseller, this is an easy profit of $10,000 or more. For the collector who likes to play their games, this set represents the best price point. Not insanely expensive for VGA graded material, yet still clean enough for display.

I would prefer, if at all possible, to sell outside of eBay. Their fees would take 10% of the sale price, which would hurt efforts to obtain more games to scan and dump.

If you are interested in making an offer, please e-mail me at setsunakun0 at hotmail.com

Also, if you could please spread the word about this sale, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

...Holy crap. Well, whoever gets that full set, I hope they put them to good use.

PlayStation 1 and 2 games
GB, GBA, and DS games, plus most of the SNES ones
Anything that doesn't fit into either of the other drawers; right now, it's 3DS and Wii U games, plus a few SNES and PS2 ones.

Yeah, I keep my video games in 3 drawers (and out in the living room, in the case of the Wii). The drawers are just narrow enough that two SNES cartridges don't fit side by side in them and just shallow enough that a PS2 case doesn't fit fully upright, which is annoying.

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.
I've got Super Mario World & SMW+All Stars in there somewhere.

Video taken today.

Chronologically descending order (first 3 from 2012 the rest are around 2007):

Latest log I found (28/10/2011) (need to re-count, I've got 37+ SNES & 25+ N64 games, I thought I had more):
I typed the game names as they appear on the cartridges; not Wikipedia. The list is incomplete, but I just counted 37 SNES & 25 N64 (must be more in my room).
Edit: Re-organised the list. I have plenty of boxes & loads of manuals yet to account for.

Red = Bad condition, but working.
Orange = Wearing away, but working.
White = Great or okay condition.
Green = With box or manual
Cyan = With box AND manual

My collection would be quite a bit larger if I wasn't an idiot in my earlier days (solid a SNES + N64 + about 40 games for each for a very low and pathetic price I'd prefer not to even say). It's pretty humble overall. That being said, if any other collectors (or anyone) has any duplicates/games in general that they want to sell, shoot me a message and we can probably arrange a deal if you're not asking a ridiculous amount. I still have to check the local flea markets and thrift stores, but if I can pick up a few games for a decent price off of here, that would be pretty cool too.
My only duplicates are Missile Command on the A2600 and some Japanese game boy games, though the latter is just a mahjong game and some yugioh games.

Anyways, I'll update my post with a long, needed update of all the games I've gotten/removed. Also I passed the 600 border. :D
Still need to document my main collection, I've got some strong isopropyl alcohol and Wieman Glass Cook Top Cleaner (byuu swears by the stuff) to clean everything. In the meantime, I've been investing in the SNES market, hoping to make money off of the gradually rising and stable costs:

I've received much of it, but as I said, I've yet to clean them, which I must do before I sell them.

EDIT: Dead links removed.
I've come across some really good finds at pawn shops recently - moreso than thrift stores it seems (especially since you can barter and they don't always mark their prices). I managed to pick up the Zelda Collector's Edition (that cool GC disc with all of the NES/N64 Zeldas on it) for $3.

I'll actually put up some pictures of my updated collection at some point. I think I'm up to about 220 games now with about 15 consoles. It's pretty modest, especially compared to ones like Ice Man's, but I'm having a ton of fun hunting for random exotic shit out in the wild.
Only 21 games away from 500 games (ignoring games on PC). Feels good man.

I'm trying to decide between getting a bunch of PC Engine related stuff or just going for a PS3. Either way it'll probably cost about the same so really it's just whether I decide to go retro or not.
