A generic thread about the Weather

It's been really hot lately here in the UK with temperatures reaching about 31C! We seem to be in some heatwave at the moment with temperatures not dropping below 25C during the day and about 20C at night. It's been difficult getting to sleep during this hot weather.

Has anyone else on here been experiencing the same hot weather we've got right now?
I'm English too, so I can agree with that statement. Been on a very long walk today, and I felt like I'd die...
me too, have to keep my fan and ac on or i'll suffocate.
My Inspiring Quotes on Personal Growth and Change:

"Resolved financial/personal problems equal greater growth!"

"The only constant thing in life is change; nothing is set in stone. The old is replaced with the new. Forgive yourself for past mistakes. When many different problems in your life are resolved (personal, financial, etc.), newfound strength and confidence is gained in the process. Usually, failures, lack of assertiveness, disappointments, incompetence, low self-esteem and lack of self-respect, financial struggles, and setbacks can cause us to change and take action to solve any problem, leading to increased strength and confidence. This you learn from experience.

I have been experiencing this aforementioned newfound strength and confidence myself for the past FOUR to EIGHT years or so, getting stronger with each passing year, learning with each mistake I make and becoming more joyful in the process. Because of this newfound confidence I've acquired over the years, finding my passion is of utmost importance in 2022! You can develop this strength and confidence in yourself as well!"

To whoever's reading this, you are amazing and you are capable of doing equally amazing things. Gather confidence and be yourself! Say goodbye to the old you and welcome the new you! It wants to arise every moment, but you don't let it. Learn from your mistakes and never make that mistake again! Find your passion and live it!"

Finding my passion in life, but I may still be active on SMWCentral from time to time. Still enjoy playing many hacks, but I'm widening my perspective on life and opening myself to the new.
Well here in the US, we've been experiencing heat waves as well. Temperatures up well about 90F (33C) with heat indices reaching about 100F (38C). While for this time of the year, our average temperatures are in the mid to upper 80's (28C-32C), and until now, it's been a rather cool summer. Temperatures below 80F (27C) for most of the summer.

Our nighttime temperatures however stay steady anywhere from 60F-70F (15C-21C), occasionally dropping below that.
comfy 29°C with clear skies throughout the week
It's 97F here in the greater New York City area today. Really disgusting, humid weather. All week at my office, building management requested for us to reduce our electricity usage.
Here in Brazil it's winter in the southern hemisphere where I live, and obviously it's way cold, like today. The temperature at the moment is on 10C, and nothing like a soft jacket to keep myself warm. ;)

Where I live is sort of a heat island, so the average temperature has been known to be higher than the surrounding areas. So annoying because I wanna take a jog but the early morning hours are not too hot but I'm usually kinda tired and after my morning nap it has heated up enough that I wouldn't want to jog too long.
Fortunately heat usually doesn't deter me from cutting the grass. I usually just throw on something sleeveless for that.
I always find the mosquitoes more annoying than the heat. We do have Venus flytraps around but not nearly enough.

It's been pretty hot today. It topped off at 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 C). It's pretty humid too, so that makes it feel a good 10 degrees hotter.

32°C. Nothing special for my country that is placed near the Equator, except it's hot and I can't stand still outside for an hour or two.
I've been experiencing some weird weather patterns lately, too. I live in Hawaii, and it's normally hot during the summer. It was pretty hot this week, however, this is also the most rainy summer I've ever experienced. It rained probably every day of the week when I first started my summer break.

It was bizarre, and annoying, because I had to walk to the bus stop under some drizzle and eventually heavy rain.

I'm Dutch so the weather always sucks.
Actually, it's been around 29°C at the day, and 22°C at night over here.
I don't know what window you're looking from GvS lol.

>10C

>Cold.

... you should stay in Ireland or England for a while. Because 10C is a good, nice, warmish day over here.

*shot*

But anyways, yeah, weather is actually somewhat decent now. Hopefully it'll stay that way in jolly old England when we go there for two weeks holiday tomorrow.

Come over to Friesland then we'll talk. >_>
Somewhere in the 80F range today, pretty humid, anyway just stopping by for my postcount++
The weather around here has been around 85F/30C, and lots of rain. It's been pretty much the same for the past 2 or 3 weeks. I hate rain now.
It was almost 100 degrees in my house.
I wish I could shake Willis Haviland Carrier's hand right now. I'd also like to thank Norman Borlaug, Father of the Green Revolution, who helped to ensure that we don't have to live our lives on a farm any more.

Anyway, we've been under a bit of a heat wave here, although we've got a bit of rain nearly every day, so I'm not sure how much of a heat wave it is. Temperatures reach about 92°F/33°C here, but it doesn't cool off too much over the night.

Good news is that the heat wave should be over going into the weekend.

It's been a nice cool 19C here today. However, it's still not the end of the UK heatwave. Forecasts are predicting 26C tomorrow and 30C on Monday.
