Oh my God.
I absolutely loved Hack, and this looks even better. You truly show what hacking is about: making a fun level. And judging from your videos, this looks incredibly enjoyable. Those gimmicks are really something unique and special. It IS possible to come up with new hacking ideas, as it seems. The gameplay looks superb.

Downloading right away, this will be inspirational as well as fun.
@Everest: Ah, I think that may be an invisible custom sprite that I accidentally set as "kill with shell". Thanks for pointing it out, will fix for later.
This is a fancy hack, GY. I found 12 exits, so far. One secret exit did make me laugh.
Oh God what is wrong with the wing and block creation level? Way to hard and way to frustating... The controls are iffy and considering how many precision jumps you want from the player...wow.

The secrets are hidden nice though,
I especially liked vine one and the one between the thwomps. These are cleverly hidden.

(And what's up with the recipe at the beginning?)
That vlock making level is not bad Shog. Its secret however is hidden.
18 exits found.
Edit: Never mind. I found it. 19 exits found.

It's probably not obvious but the block creation level is designed so you won't need to make precision jumps while generating blocks. In most cases, you can get through the level by placing a block when Mario is stationary or simply when jumping straight up.

The problem is that there's a jump over a pit where more often than not, you'll be placing a block when moving down. Either way, you should be considering that situation, not going "oh, it's okay, because you're doing it wrong!" In fact, I'm stuck on that level because more often than not, the block gets placed inside me, causing me to either get hit or take damage. Especially at the second spike jump, where I CAN'T place the block when going up unless I want to hit the ceiling spikes.

:/ The block should be placed 16 pixels below Mario, so no matter where he is, the block will be under him when R is pressed.

Wow! I found all the exits. Now to tackle the castle. This was great so far, GY.

Uh I wasn't saying anyone was doing it wrong, just trying to give a tip on how to beat the level. But I can see how it could be frustrating to get through it.

Oh, sorry, I misinterpretted you. In any case, I got both exits from that level now. That was actually pretty clever on how to get past that pit! I actually dismissed that option thinking it wasn't enough height, but it was...XD

Finished the entire hack apart from the minigames, and apart from a couple levels that have already been mentioned (the block level due to that one jump and the wing level due to the not-very-precise controls), I had a lot of fun. The one-way and enemy swap levels in particular were really clever. Although there is one thing that slightly annoys me, and that is how the explanation message pops up every single time you reset a level; it'd be better if it was replaced with a message box after the first time.

Also, I found something that may or may not be a bug; trying to scroll the screen with R in the cake level switches the current player between Mario and Luigi. At first, I thought the game had frozen since my controls for player 2 weren't setup :V

Oh thanks. That level was originally supposed to feature a player switch gimmick, must've forgotten to remove the switch sprite. Will fix for the version that will be submitted to the site.
Ooh! I've been waiting for this! I'll definitely play it when the "fixed" version comes out!
Check out my music!
100% 'ed it. liked it better than the first one. congratz.

just one thing:
how are you supposed to get the six-coin ticket? the coins don't respawn

EDIT: as for the mario/luigi thing, I don't really mind. means I can play as luigi if I want (I made 2 savestates: one with mario and one with luigi because you can't switch back).

There is a way. Keep looking...
I beta tested this hack and I enjoyed it much more than the first "Hack". I think GY really fleshed out his gimmicks this time around and a couple of certain events like
the fake-out "evil" final level
are executed superbly.

Best of luck to everyone on the contest!

Woaah, oh boy, this is so much fun. It's been a really long while since I've played any SMW hack, so it really is difficult for me. I bet I'd even have trouble with the original SMW.

I'm nowhere near done with the hack (found about 6 exits) but I'm looking forward to the rest.

These gimmicks are just so interesting and creative. It feels like I'm playing a real game.

Incredible ideas and they're all executed really well, so great job. It is rather hard for me though, but that's probably because I haven't played a hack for so long.
