This is what is looks like during credits. The castle and the forest BGs are the only ones are still there. I hid the sprites because I won't tell you what kind of sprites I used.

The black BG and the frames are missing.

1) The only possible ways I think you could have done that is by replacing the graphic for the background or (super unlikely) you somehow managed to corrupt that level which can only be accessed from the ROM address.

2) You may have replaced/deleted some graphic here which is used by the border or you somehow edited it out using a tool.
How do I bring back the backgrounds? I was playing Higsby's Super Mario Omega and he edited backgrounds at all levels except layer 2 levels and the credit BGs are there. I don't understand what I did wrong.

Well, most people use ExGFX, which is like adding new graphics to the already existing ones.
That way, everything using the vanilly (original) graphics still works fine, while you can use new BG/FG and Sprite GFX

Oh man. How long is this Thread gonna be?

I have fixed one of my problems. Image 2 has black BG and frames, but it doesn't cover the FG. So that problem is resolved.#w{=)}

Anyway, I must know how to use the vanilly thing.

I guess it would be the best to look for some tutorials regarding custom graphics.

Here is one teaching you how to make sprites using different GFX tilesets appear in the same level without looking glitched up.
Understanding this should be a good first step towards using custom GFX (ExGFX in other words)

Video Part 1

This site has also lots of tutorials, so if you look around a bit here and on youtube, you'll find planty.

Also, vanilla is just another word for "not custom"
So, to use the original GFX, sprites, blocks and whatnot

I don't know what's wrong with my brain. Do I have to go through every level to original-ize the GFX?
