I'm going to extend signups until tomorrow in the hopes of getting a more favorable number of players.
Thirteen seems okay to me, but I'm fine with waiting.
Are signups still open? If so, I'll be glad to join this round.
So, here we go again. Basically, this is a normal round of mafia with a major difference to the day round lynching system. Rather on posting to vote on who should be lynched, you will instead elect somebody to choose who dies. That person will be henceforth referred to as the round's judge. This is very similar to the original Election Mafia that I hosted, with a significant change: there will now be a small group of town-sided people called the McCarthyians. These 3 players know who each other are, and will work together to defeat the enemies. The good guys are called the Feds, and the bad guys are the Soviets. Allow me to explain the rules of this game:

Night Talk: Allowed
Dead Talk: Not Allowed, except goodbyes without information
Directly Quoting Role PMs: Allowed
Roles will always be revealed when that player dies.

Voting Procedures: During each Day Round, people will discuss who to elect/who to lynch. When a player wants to vote for the Judge, they will do so in a PM to the host sent during that Day Round. That's right: the voting is not done publicly, it is done in secret! Each voting PM must contain both a primary and a secondary choice for Judge. The primary and secondary choice must be two different people, and neither of them can be yourself. Obviously, your primary vote should be for your first choice for Judge, and your secondary choice should be for your second choice. You can also cast a vote for No-Judge. No-Judge is like no kill: it basically means that you don't want a lynch this round. Anybody who fails to vote within the allotted time period of the Day Round will be ignored.

Vote Counting Procedures: The judge will be decided in the following manner:
-If any player has more primary votes then any other player, they will become that round's judge.
-If two or more players have the most primary votes, the one who has the most secondary votes will become that round's judge.
-If two or more players have the most primary votes and the same number of secondary votes, the judge will be decided VIA random.org.
-If more people vote for No-Judge then any player has primary votes, there will be no Judge chosen in that day round. If No-Judge is tied with any player(s) for votes, it will be ignored.

Judging Procedures: The voting will end when either each living player has sent in a vote, or the 48 hour time limit expires. Once the votes are counted and the judge is counted, the judge will be sent a PM telling them that they won the election. The judge must then PM the host with the name of the player that they would like killed. They may also choose No-Kill, in which case no players are lynched that round. The identity of the lynched player and their role will the be released ; however, the Judge's identity will not be released.

Other then those things, it will be like a normal round of mafia. At night, the Soviets will PM the host with their vote for who to murder that night. The Feds win when all the Soviets are dead; the Soviets win when the number of Feds and Soviets are the same.

ROLE EXPLANATIONS:
Feds:
Surgeon General: Basic Doctor role. Can send a PM to the host with the identity of which player to protect that night.
Federal Investigator: Basic Detective role. Can send a PM to the host with the identity of which player they want to scan, and they will receive a PM back at the end of the night round with the role of that player
Postmaster General: This is a complex role: each night round, the postmaster general can choose to either check the incoming or outgoing mail of a player via PM. If they choose incoming, they will receive a copy of any official PM(s) that the host sent the player that they chose at any time during that night round. If they choose outgoing, they will receive a copy of any official PM(s) that that player sent the host during that night round.
CIA Assassin: Fed sided vigilante. The CIA Assassin has two bullets, they can use one during a night round to kill any player. They are immune to the trappers, and they can only use one of their bullets in one night.
Poll Meister: At the start of each Night Round, they will be sent a PM with the identity of the Judge from the previous day round.
Secret Service Agent: Basic Federal sided Thug role. Counts as two feds when deciding whether or not the Soviets should win the game. He and the KGB Enforcer cancel each other out when both alive.
Federal Trapper: Basic fed sided Trapper. The trapper can PM the host with the name of one player to trap during the Night Round. Anybody who visits that player during that Night Round will die at the end of the night.
Senator McCarthy: Leader of the McCarthians, this role will know the identities of the other two members of the group. Its power is to "accuse" one player of being a Soviet by PMing the host during any Night Round with their accusation. On the day round post for the next day, it will say "Senator McCarthy has accused XXX of being a Soviet!" If McCarthy is murdered during a night round, his accusation will not go through.
McCarthian Snoop: Member of the McCarthians, this role will know the identities of the other two members of the group. Its power is to spy on a player during a night round by sending the host a PM. They will then receive a PM at the end of the Night Round telling them the loyalty of the player they investigated. (Either Fed, Soviet, or Converted Fed). They will NOT, however, learn the player's role.
McCarthian Censor: Member of the McCarthians, this role will know the identities of the other two members of the group. Its power is to censor another player by sending a PM to the host during any night round. For the next two rounds (Day and Night), that player will not be able to vote for Judge, and will not be able to use their role's power. They will, however, be able to post in the thread. Consider this role to be like a heavily modified silencer.

Soviets:
Joseph Stalin's Mustache: Leader of the Soviets. Is immune to being killed in any way except lynching.
Propaganda Officer: By sending a PM during any night round, he is able to convert a Fed to the Soviets. In terms of the ratio, this Fed will still count as a Fed, however, they will be required to use the power of their role and their knowledge to aid the Soviet cause. This power may be used during any night round, but can only be used once. Additionally, McCarthians cannot be converted. If this role attempts to convert a McCarthian, they will fail and not be able to try again. The person converted by this role will not show up as being converted if checked by the Federal Investigator, however, if checked by the McCarthian snoop, they will show up as a converted Fed.
Soviet Trapper: Basic scum sided Trapper role. The trapper can PM the host with the name of one player to trap during the Night Round. Anybody who visits that player during that Night Round will die at the end of the night.
Nuclear Physicist: Soviet sided Vigilante. They have two nukes which they can use to kill somebody during a Night Round by PMing the host. They can only use one bomb each night. They have another power though: the person who they nuke will die without fail, even if they have some kind of protection against dying that round.
KGB Enforcer: Basic scum sided Thug role. Counts as two Soviets when deciding whether or not the Soviets should win the game. He and the Secret Service Agent cancel each other out.

It is the height of the Cold War. World politics are dominated by the US and the USSR, both of which have been building up their arsenal of nuclear weaponry. Senator McCarthy has been accusing people left and right of being communists, and the public is terrified. However, for those living at the nation's capital, that fear is very justified. Word has come in that 5 Soviet spies have secretly infiltrated Washington D.C. The time has come to elect a leader and lynch them before they can kill off everyone. The sun sets, but nobody is sleeping peacefully.

10(+1):5(+1)
What a ratio.
6:11 is even worse than 5:10. Especially considering one of our guys will deplete 2 of our people.
woag.....

(previously superdragonyoshi1. sup yall.)
Considering all of the town has power roles, I guess its reasonable.
i have a question about the voting system. if i get it right, we pick someone, and that person picks the person who will die?
Yes, it seems so.

The people of Washington D.C. awoke, expecting to find a shot-up corpse from the Soviet spies' victim. However, oddly enough, no such corpse was found.
IT'S ALMOST AS IF THE SOVIETS DIDN'T GIVE ENOUGH OF A DAMN TO ACTUALLY SAY WHO THEY WANT TO MURDER.

However, all is not well for the Feds, for where the house of Phenolatukas once was, there is now nothing more than a crater and hints of harmful radiation. It quickly became evident that he was the McCarthyian Censor, and that he was nuked by the Soviets' Nuclear Physicist.

Anyway, it is now time to discuss who is to be made judge. Remember, although you can claim that you are voting for somebody, that vote will ONLY count if you send it to me privately by PM. Once the voting period is over, I will send a PM to the judge, they will send me their response, and the round will be over.

9(+1):5(+1)
Typical. I guess that's why I kept getting mafia.

But I don't like being mafia q-q
6 against 10, there was an actual chance we could've lost first night.
(Trapper kill town, CIA kill town, soviet kill 2-count person, nukist kill soneone)
I'll see this through then.
Everyone has to post.

Ouch, Latukas. You never seem to make it past Day 2. (Or even Day 2 sometimes)

I still wonder if that's related to personal hatred or you just being pretty much the best player here. :\

...unfortunately by the looks of it no one currently has any information on dem communists. If anyone does, I'd recommend not saying it just yet. Save it for the next day- we can't afford to have the Communists take out our only source of information on the first day.
Want to see some of my cool swords? Well, too bad, right now you only get to see one of them, and it's my avatar. Might set up some kind of gallery/portfolio at some point, though.
I dunno, seems kinda infoless, and I'd rather not do a whole voting thing like last time.

Shrug. I'll just wait a little bit.
I hate to be that guy, but -

Besides that, I don't have anything of value to add.
"Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate."
Yes, we have no information. Maybe the Detective and the Snoop have some information(if they didnt both target latukas). In my opinion the Snoop and the Detective should contact each other,if they find each other. So they could share the informations, although there is a low chance, that the Detective could be converted(but the Snoop can't).

Other than the results of the investigations we have no information. BUT
I highly suspect anyone who was inactive the last rounds, because the mafia did not kill. Unfortunally I was never a host, so I don't have a clue, who was inactive the last mafia games.

Unless, of course, the surgeon general protects them, forcing the soviets to either waste a night or attack someone else. However, due to the massive amounts of soviets, this is hardly a good plan.

Aaand because literally everyone has a power role, the soviets will never hit a useless target or have to worry about doing this.
Not much to add, I guess we can't really do much nor make assumptions (other than random ones, but that wouldn't be exactly wise) without any valuable info.

I think I'm going to wait too for now.

My god, what is this.

Plus, all 5 soviets will definitely be voting the same person to try to get another kill, so we have to make sure to vote the same people.
After more discussion I'll figure out who I can trust

SDY1, what information do you see that the rest of us don't?
I'm getting weird vibes from you. I've got a feeling you've got something to hide.
