Dark Side of the Kingdom ~ Team Hack | Looks like it died?!

Just posted here to say that I'm still working on my level. I decided to restart it, because it wasn't what I expected imo, the ideas I used didn't work well.
I'll try to take some screens after I start the level, just to show the main idea and the atmosphere :3

Sorry, but this seems a little too over the top for a secondary boss. I think something a little more low-key (and simpler, we should put our focus on The bosses) would suffice. ps it reminds me of this guy

I'm pretty meh on this. MetalJo's level would probably be fine, except I think it should at least have a slightly changed version of it based on what he's using right now to give it a unique spin. Blatantly copying palettes isn't what I think we're looking for. Extending the palette to your cave level is not a good idea in my opinion. Not only do I really like the palette you made for it, that would be the 3rd time we've reused a concept. For me at least, unique > consistancy.

Egadd Well,my original idea for this boss was to be called Smash Yeti
(He would be the boss of Smash Mountain)He was going to be disembodied too.
The first part would be that you have to dodge it feet in a Auto Scroll section.

The last part of the battle would take place on top of
the castle.He would have no arms but flying hands that move like boos.

You would have to jump on his head or throw throw block at his head.

Well,Maybe you could use this idea.

Well, okay then. But the problem is, that the old cave level is on my old computer, I forgot to copy it here. That's why I have to start over again, which shouldn't be a problem this I'm very motivated right now.

Cool that you like the palette, I'm going to make an ips ready with the improved overworld and levels :)

Hm.. the level had some nice ideas. Let's wait for Egadd's response, I would accept it, though it needs some fixing palette-wise and gameplay-wise. ^^

Yeah, pretty much this. I'll accept it, and I'll (or maybe mrdeppel) will smooth out the edges a bit. Here's the two main things I noticed:

The castle block's palette doesn't look very good around the edges.

The pipe above my head takes me to the next room as well as the normal pipe.

Other than that, the palettes are pretty monotonous, but I think it's just fine. Send in your resources.

What Sockbat Replica has done to the level is great,and i see whats there,they are my fault,since this was a beta,the pipe there is for a small weird puzzle i did before,i guess he forgot to make it non-exit enabled!,and for the pallate,it is not one of my greatest acomplishments,back then,i didn't even know how to mix tilesets! hopefully sockbat will change these things in the near futere!

Hmm, I caught that when I tested it, and I could've sworn it was being fixed. Mrdeppel is going to fix it, though, so that's all good.

It's all cool man. Great to know you're already working on it!
It's not looking bad, but there are some small problems with it imo:

-The berries on the ground look weird

-The clouds's palette doesn't fit with the background color.
Try using the background color, but a bit brighter, and make a gradient using it and the white color, then use that as the palette for the cloud.
It works for me :3

-The mountains also have a weird palette imo, it doesn't really fit with the sunset theme
