Pandemonium Fortress.[Done]

Standard

Change the olive green, and maybe make the red in the BG a less saturated red.

There, how does that look?

Also I've fixed the Layer 3 problem in double splash cave, the pow problem in double splash cave, and made double splash cave harder.

On another note, do you guys think this hack will have a shot at being featured?

EDIT: We are so close here. HERE is the close to final version. basically before I submit it I'd like to run it by a few of you guys to check for bugs and stuff. Hope you guys enjoy it.

I hate to double post but this is it. This is big. It's done. Bug fixes and glitches destroyed. Pandemonium Fortress is done and awaiting approval. I hope you all enjoyed the adventure we had while this was in production. Maybe I'll make another hack soon but for now I'm gonna sit back with a glass of iced tea and read the reviews to see what I can do to become an even greater Lunar magic user.

You should be able to find it Here

Thanks again to all the people who came and supported this hack and this thread for it. Everyone who played and commented on the betas should be mentioned in the credits.

I will test this hack. Its something to do...

TESTED: The BG in one of the levels in the mansion (at the end of the easy road) is glitched. That needs sorting.
In the credits, either the right or the left column needs to move one square to the left. Then it will be symmetrical.
No, that cant be, all the backgrounds in chaotic mansion are from the original game...

Anyway as for the credits, I tried it with the right column in the correct place but the the text itself was off center and that was even worse.

but did you enjoy the game? What was your favourite level?

EDIT: And since it's submitted i would be putting up a new version until I can get all of the glitches fixed or this one is rejected. Mind you I took care of all the major glitches.

It isn't very smart to put five splittin' Chucks on one screen... And I also don't like the fact how you make coins LEAD you into a pit, and I also hate the fact there are so many of those kicking koopas in every single level!! And things that you have to get hit/die before you know how to avoid it. Other than that I like it.

There were also some graphical gliches that weren't really major (like the corner colors of ledges appearing), and the coin palette in Chaotic Mansion, but that's all I saw...

Enemies you have too many of in a level (Top 3):
1. - Kicking Kooopas
2. - Bullet Bills (Some levels)
3. - Splittin' Chuck

I like how there is a different song on each level, each level has their own unique level name, and has it's own feel to it. Good job.

Thank you!

I'm trying to figure out when coins lead you into a pit (Reversing Cavern perhaps?).

The Splittin' Chuck thing may have been a bad idea but I have no idea what to put in there. Atleast there's blocks to hit them with.

As for the kicking koopas you should have been around for some of the early versions of this. But I suppose I'll tone 'em down in my next project.

Speaking of my next project, which would you guys like to see first: "Mario's A-Maze-ing Puzzle Adventure" or "Pandemonium Fortress 2: Finale"?

Mario's A-Mazing-ing Puzzle Adventure! I vote for that one, because how many SMW hacks are there that have an a-maze-ing title like that?

Well, as it turns out we'll be having Azura (AzureBlade49) review Pandemonium Fortress instead of ProtoJon doing it. I'll put the video up in this thread (or maybe a link to a playlist of them) once they're done.
