...And now I rage.

Seriously, though. I downloaded the pre-patched "Super Mario Star Road Deluxe", and ended up with this issue that prevents me from being able to get that last Red Coin.

Thought you'd like to know so it could get fixed. Also, if you do decide to fix it, is there any way to play an updated version and not lose my progress? I just finished the Retro Castle level and unlocked the second Key door. As awesome as the game is, I still don't want to have to start over from scratch.

That's completely intentional, you have to jump up at it while riding the checkered platform.
Did you watch the whole video, or just the beginning part? The beginning part was me showing that it's impossible to reach the coin using long jumps. After that, I run over to the checkered platform, it spends about thirty seconds to a minute twitching in place, and then it falls down and takes me with it to my death. The platform isn't even at the place where it's supposed to spawn, and I only know that because I had to check a video walkthrough to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

In that case, it's done that strange path coordinate glitch. I'm still not sure how to fix this, I haven't really looked into it, but if you just go back to the level later the platform should be working.
Updated thread with multiplayer version.
Now I wish I had somebody to play with...

Slightly off-topic (possibly, not sure), but I wanted to ask something. You mentioned on the site that the link you gave leads to that the DS version will have some levels taken out of it. I'm just curious, but why is that? Were you just unhappy with them looking back at them, or is it some sort of technical issue that prevents them from working?

Hi Skellux, I love your projects and lately I tried to add all SM64 ROMHacks Mods to nonGoodN64 for the next GoodN64 update in romshered (http://romshepherd.com/smf/index.php/topic,1646.msg15152.html#msg15152)

But I've been surprised that downloading the game brings the Project64 v0.40, which hurts.

(spanish) http://www.emudigital.net/foro/nintendo-64/31164-nuevamente-al-drenaje-aportes-de-n64.html

It was an unofficial upgrade for the Spanish community (Emudesc, Emudigital, etc...), but the PJ64K 0.14 or higher are based on C/P only changing the icon, menu order customization, and other similar thinks...

(well.. Emudigital is down in this moment, maybe works again later, there are the evidence)

Its possible change the emulator?

If this message gets sent to Skeelux, it's an honor to play your great hacks. Now back to business:

Hello everyone. I'm having some trouble with Super Mario Star Road Multiplayer. The problem is as follows:

A friend and I were livestreaming Super Mario Star Road Multiplayer. We came across our first secret level. When Mario approaches Koopa the Quick, he instantly disappears. This doesn't happen with Luigi, but Luigi can't talk to Koopa the Quick to begin with, unlike Mario. We tried racing him to the top of the mountain where the flag is even though he was invisible, but he still stood at the same spot as where he stood initially. We found this out after we completed the race. No matter where we were in the area, even below Koopa the Quick's starting point, you can't even see him at all during the race. We tried everything to complete the race and get the star, but nothing worked. To make matters worse, I heard a rumor saying that you can only get 116 stars in this multiplayer game. That is a conflicting issue as my friend and I want to complete the game 100% by collecting all 130 stars. I tried to find something that explains how to solve this issue but found nothing. I even saw Chris and Sully's videos of this game, and they didn't know what to do either. If someone could please help me figure out how to solve these issues (even skeelux), that would be awesome. Thank you.
