Submitted another tune!

We're talking about Seven Heroes' Battle, straight from Kitiku Mario Romancing Saga 2.

It sounds really similar to Kitiku Mario's one...#thp{^_^}
Sounds pretty epic! Even If your ports will be removed please fix and submit them! I don't think that they will be.They sounds perfect!

I will use them in my hack...

Thanks! It looks you becamed fan of my submitted ports!#thp{>:)}

Yep, in this period I'll try to submit musical stuff, because I want to be more active in this field. People only know me as Smiley Abuser. LOL!#w{xD}
You do a really good job on the song this is epic. #thp{>:)}

Guess what....

Romancing SaGa - Beat them up! is on the air!#thp{=D}

I think I'm falling in love with SaGa musics...I should play it...
Mmmh...not bad actually! You got the chords right, and the port's very catchy overall. However, I think you could try to slow down the vibrato a bit, lower an octave on the main melody and use @4 instead of @6 (though @6 works pretty well too). It should sound a bit closer to the original version. Also, it would be nice if you used some stereo pannings on the various channels.

The battle themes are simply outstanding. Romancing SaGa games seem to be very hard, though.
Grazie RednGreen!#thp{^_^}
I'll try to get those improvements. (What is a stereo panning, thought? You mean the y10 thingy?)

Also, can I sample bank it?
First attempt to a serious sample bank port. Very VIP5-ish!
Megaman X - Sigma Screen

Also, added a "Downloadables" section, where it's more easier to download my stuf without searching trought the Music section.
It's WAY better than your old port, but there are lots of fixable things:

1. The tempo is too fast.
2. That @8 should be @14.
3. A @29 would work better than a @28. Maybe even a @10 $ED $7F $E0 o4 f would work as well (wow that was really specific).
4. Channel #2 can use a @3 or a @2 instead of a @0. I used a @2 but maybe it would work just as well with a @3.
5. Channel #1 should be @1, not @0.

Basically, you just used other instruments. Maybe if you replace them with some of my suggestions it will sound better. Also nice @1 choir.

Thank you Max!#w{=D}

Listen if it sounds better now.

Also, what banks the OW SFX use? Only the #7 or other ones too?#smw{o_O?}
That certainly sounds better than the last one.
May I suggest that you put this in the start of channel #0, it makes your song have the same echo.
Code
$EF $FF $A0 $50
$F1 $03 $44 $01
$ED $80 $0F $34
$ED $80 $1F $33
$ED $80 $2F $00
$ED $80 $3F $D9
$ED $80 $4F $E5
$ED $80 $5F $01
$ED $80 $6F $FC
$ED $80 $7F $EB

Refer to this song if you want to be more accurate about your port.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for this, very useful!#w{:>}

Also, that's a echo command? It's different from the standard echo commands I used.
Hey this is actually a pretty well done port, althought I think you really should higher the tempo a bit. :)
All those $ED $80 $xF $yy represent the FIR filter, a special command which is used to make the echo somewhat stronger/weaker. For each channel there is a coefficient, which is represented by $yy. It's a bit complicated to understand and I honestly have always used it only for accurate ports. Anyway, you can see the FIR filter of a music by viewing the Mixer in the SPC700 player (click).
I'm following the suggestions, NEW VERSION.

Here I increased a little bit the tempo, and played with the pan (the y thingy).

@RednGreen: It looks very hard to understand. Thanks anyways to pointed that out.#w{=D}
Channel #1 has to be one octave higher, and the @3 has to be louder; I suggest you increase its volume and use this ADSR: $ED $7F $EF. Other than that, this port is excellent.

Heh, A0 is supposed to be B0.
Sorry!
Wow, this is going to be great!O.O

If everyone approves, I'll submit this version.

I want to be sure only for the SFX effects of the OW. Only in #7 or other channels too?

EDIT! PODORUI GOT ACCEPTED!!!! Thank you imamelia for the sample, and for the other 7 ones you sent me.#w{=3}
Sounds really good. You should definitely submit it.
