Description: | This is the very first demo of my upcoming vanilla hack. There are no known bugs except two small graphical glitches in the castle, I'll fix them in the next demo. This demo is for level design feedback, if you want to give me some you can visit my thread or send me a PM, that'd be nice. - AltheronX |

The design is handled in a good way in most of the levels. I said this hack has its flaws, and the worst ones are about the design. While most of this small demo is okay, I really hated some sections, mainly the level with the line guides. First, it was confusing, since you couldn't see the lines because of the black BG. The same level also has a very silly end when you enter in the pipe, since if you don't react fast enough and jump on a koopa, you'll fall and die. A really silly trick to do, especially for a world 1. I also have mixed feelings about the castle: while the first part was well played, the part after the midway point was just a copy paste of sections. Besides these issues, the rest was okay.
The aesthetics are good in most of the levels. I personally think that night level's FG needed to be edited like the BG, since it looks weird to me. There are also huge cutoff parts in the switch palace (on the right of the screen) and in the castle level. They could've been avoided easily.
Overall, a good demo, but some flaws bring it down a bit. 2/5.
