Man, the latest Base update has a few screwups that need fixing (also lol because I'd caused/forgot those).

@Egadd: Your song's TXT file. Apparently it wasn't working for two reasons:

> It didn't have a Level Header and the required silent notes to avoid some awkward echo noise.
> There was a musical interval error somewhere.

Other than that, your MIDI didn't play for me. But it wasn't really necessary. You just asked to get the song working on SMW, so that's it. You just need to fix instruments on your own now. Ah, yes, I've fixed loops and label looping, as well.

Yesterday I was bored. I tried to continue the Grinder Factory thing, but I was inspired to do something else.

Meant to be used for the Cheep Cheep River submap.

Not "wow, awesome". Also, unclaimed theme. I think it'll be rejected. Otherwise, I'll send the TXT.

Thanks a lot Q-bee. Here is the txt file. Here is the spc file. To tell the truth, I don't think the spc does it justice, so for the full deal, I would listen to the txt version using Vitor's nifty tool AM4Player.

levelengine, could you put it up as a ips file? Level files are nice, but you're missing a lot of the resources (including all of your Map16) so the level is unplayable.

RealMarioGamer, I would also suggest putting up an ips file (look in the FAQ section for how to make one). It makes it easier for testers to pick up and play a level without much hassle.

@Egadd: Your spirit cave theme sounds spot-on and very fitting... though I expected a bit more of percussion. Don't mean it's bad, heh.

Holy shit guys. Why do I have to be all musical this way with themes unrelated to the Factory Level?

WIP of a possible Heaven/Clouds Level Theme. In my opinion, turning out to be my best SMW composition.

Okay. To avoid future fuckups:

Fuck musical inspiration that that always comes on the wrong hours. I have a feeling that I'll end up composing a lot of unclaimed songs, and now, dropping the factory one, I'll come with inspiration for it...

@Q-bee, I tried to use the Primus-like bass rhythm as percussion, mostly because I usually have to write out my drums in code (though I came up with a way to avoid that). Listen to this for a good Les Claypool/Primus bass riff.

Also, the last Base ROM update was mid last month. We need a new base ROM update so we don't start stepping over each others places in Map16 and the like.
