Thunderstruck Mario - A demo for C3.

This is the release thread for the 2nd demo of my hack, Thunderstruck Mario. I've been working steadily on it since the last demo was released, and have gotten quite a few more levels done since then.

Story: Mario and Peach are taking a plane ride to Delfino Island for a peaceful vacation. All was peaceful till a giant storm formed out of nowhere, critically damaging the plane. It was too much and they had to make a crash-landing on a nearby island. A little later, Mario regained consciousness, and had noticed that Peach had gone. She was not amongst the plane wreckage anywhere. Fearing the worst, Mario goes off to explore the island, in the hope that he'll find Peach, and perhaps along the way, figure out the mystery behind the extreme climate of this region.

And the most important part :P, here's the download link. Click here

I hope you all enjoy it, comments would be greatly appreciated. :)

Oh, you know I love this hack. It's really great to see another demo from this! It's a hack that focusses on level design, and does a great job with that. I'm gonna play this now!

Keep it up, Mr.ESC! :D
I like the plot; it's a nice new spin to the whole Peach thing, and I love that you're referencing Delfino Island, since I've always liked that place.

About the screenshots: man, I love those palettes, especially the ones involving the mushroom platforms. Those things work so well with different colors! I also like the palette you're using on that castle level.

And those screenshots show some interesting bits of design! The one featuring triangle blocks looks really nice, I'd love to play it! I can also say the same for the two screenshots immediately after that one.

I'll definitely download this!
YES! A demo of this hack! I'll play it when I have the chance and give feedback!

This looks very nice! I agree with Thundahack, the palettes are really nice, they really suit the theme of the level and show the atmosphere perfectly. Great work!Free counters!
Thank you for the feedback so far :)

@GeorgeVsSonic: Thanks, I hope you enjoy/enjoyed the demo :)

@Thundahack: Thank you. When I first started this hack, I really wanted to try and add that something different to the plot, rather than a straight up Princess kidnapping.

@Daizo: Thanks. I hope you get chance to play it soon. :P

@Jeorge535: Thanks, i'm glad you like the palettes. :)
Yes.

I was worried that this was dead. Thank god I'm wrong.

Oh, and the download link doesn't work.

RPG Hacker: Thank you :).

akacesfan: Thanks. Don't worry, this hack won't be dead anytime soon. It was kind of hibernating for a while, but it's back now. :P
