I was part of making this hack long time ago, but lately, she made most of the latest additions. :)

So here it finally is:

Super Mario World - The Lost Levels
FIXED AND REUPLOADED!!

"This hack of Super Mario World is an idea of making a sequel to the original Mario World in a way of BIGGER, LONGER; HARDER AND COOLER.

We worked over 2 years on that one. It is mostly vanilla - it has a lot of custom palettes, lots of MAP16 use of original graphics, 2 custom blocks (star-break-block / No Yoshi-block) and over 100 exits. It is very puzzly and challanging, but still has a very relaxing difficulty in the first worlds.
The Lunatic world is extremly challanging.

I hope you all enjoy this hack as much as we did making and playing it, too!

A complete walkthrough (Let´s Play) of an little older version you can find here at Ninjaboys channel:

A just started GERMAN walkthrough with the final version of the hack you can find here at Dusselchens channel:

"
Looks pretty cool, but this thread belongs in Full Releases. Also, it'd be a good idea to post screenshots in the thread.
Good fucking bye.
Alright, somebody move the thread then.

And is there a possibility to edit the Hack description? And it did not upload all the pictures I told it to upload, too. -.-

Editing: No. Adding mroe pic's: No. You have to resubmit it then. Just point out wich version is the good one.

Well actually, hack mods can upload new pics for the author without having to submit an update. Just submit a screenshot to your filebin or something and then I should be able to do an update for you. If you want to edit the description, just PM a hack mod and tell them what you want to put on the description.

Anyways, this looks like a very nice vanilla hack, I'll give this a shot at moderating. Also, moved to the right forum.

I played through some levels. Most of them were good, but sometimes i find blind edits here and there...
Ive seen/ watching an LP of this on youtube, from what Ive seen I have liked it alot. I will probably play it sometime as it will keep me busy cause its long,
Nice work!
Hack link is broken...
EDIT:Re-uploaded.

Well sadly, I removed the hack just a few minutes ago.

Link to removal

It sucked that I had to remove it because I liked the hack, but there were a lot of blatant level edits and errors and I'm sure there would've been more if I played more but I stopped early.
Alright, I fixed about 80 % of the suggested "errors". I will reupload the hack again now. I hope several testers will aprove it not just 1 person in a critizising-mood. :P

AND PLEASE PLAY THE GAME THROUGH BEFORE RANTING AGAIN! IT IS NOT A BAD HACK!

Some of the level-design-based one I keept, and here I wanna explain:

Error: Door 2 is way closer and leads to the next area faster than the other one.
Fix this by: What's the point in it? Door 2 is just in the middle of the level and is a quicker way to beating the level unlike the other door which is farther. Did you forget to delete door 2 or something? If so it'd be advised to do so.

The longer path gives you an midway point and in case you die fighting Morton, you don´t have to do everything again. -_-

Error: Spin jumping on enemies to get to a certain place.
Fix this by: It's just like koopa jumping and it's something you shouldn't do.

Completly invalid reason for removal. No rule says there is no koopa/enemy jumping allowed. It supposed to be an advanced skill hack.

Error: The green dots in the FG look rather bad IMO.
Fix this by: They should be lighter than the ground around it instead of darker.

Error: The light red that the arrow is pointing to doesn't really look good.
Fix this by: Make it a dark red.

Matter of taste, no reason for removal!!

Error: If I'm not big I'm forced to die.
Fix this by: That's not cool, and I don't recall seeing a powerup nearby so I couldn't have used it if there was one. Put a powerup right here or just take this turn block section out.

If you would have looked correctly, there is a reset-pipe you get invinitiv powerups by re-entering again. -___-
Just been playing this hack and there is one thing you REALLY need to fix in the "Forest of Four Seasons":

<embed src="http://img155.imageshack.us/flvplayer.swf?f=M5lu" width="480" height="384" allowFullScreen="true" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"/>

Did you notice that my timer says Z15 seconds? It's because of this:

These three Green Berries respawn everytime I re-enter the pipe. And if I enter it enough times, I somehow get teleported to a different level. It might be that I entered the pipe 256 times. I do believe there is a fix for that.

Oh, thanks Imageshack for putting a fucking ugly pixellated frog on the video. |-O
Hahaha, sure I can replace the berrys. XD

But about the tubes, I don´t know how to fix that. It´s a SWM bug. And who enters a pipe 256 times anyway. Own fault. :D

Well you know, it got annoying having to play a hack with blatant level edits, and because of that my removal lacked in mood and all. These things do annoy hack mods you know. And also hack mods aren't testers for you.

Uhh...dude...I practically never ranted in my removal log, and you obviously didn't read the post above you with me saying "I liked the hack" did ya?

Well okay, that settles that reason. And you can't expect the player to just know everything in your hack. Though it'd be more reasonable to the mid-way in the 1st door cause it's in middle of the level. And who dies to Morton like seriously?

Well if it's an advanced hack, you should've put that in the hack description.

Yep, and I think it looks bad so it's a removal reason to me...

Again, you can't just expect the player to just know your hack. -_________________________________________________-

And if the player went back to find that pipe that means they'd have less time to complete the level.

So don't get mad at me for criticizing, criticism is to help you improve things, not to be a dick. Sometimes we get annoyed so we're raged maybe, so don't take our removals too seriously like really.
CargoOfDarkness, you need to know this site has standards. Hack moderators don't test the hack (that's your job); they check to make sure that it's good enough to be on the site. Take advantage of their advice, they only want to help you make a hack that other people would want to play. And when people see a screenshot like this:

...They probably won't want to play it at all.

It´s not about criticism. I took more than a half of your mistakes and said that you were right. But it weakens your criticism when you put things in your report that are not really based on any good argumetns.
Like that you say "The player cannot just know your hack" - of course not, but i EXPECT from players to have SKILL when there is in the description "BIGGER, LONGER, H A R D E R".
And the skill to EXPLORE is used in the hack. And I know there are much difficulter and ridiculous hacks on this site and even AWARDED (Super Challange World).

Also, the hack got removed after 1 day. That what made me really sad about it. Now it´s on for a while and if there are still HUGE mistakes in it - then sure, remove it. I will fix them.
Ok, I have heard enough from you, you are just not listening, you can't submit a hack, and if it is removed bitch out the moderator for doing his job, I mean really, what the hell?

Also, most of these problems are rather minor, and can be fixed easily, so just fix them. And for the record, how fast a hack gets removed doesn't measure how bad a moderator thinks a hack is, your hack itself does.
Volke, he's already fixed it.
Good fucking bye.
There are still some problems I was coming across:
1. There are still some instances of cutoff including pipes on corners and pipes meeting with cement blocks.

2. House of Insanity could probably do with a much bigger time limit. I had 4 seconds left when I finished the level. I think 999 would do.

3. The glass block which holds the Roulette Item turns into glitched graphics when hit in some levels.

However, this was a very nice hack to play! #w{=3}
I just read the latest few posts and am laughing. Those removal reasons are absolutely pathetic. Is it the norm by now to remove hacks based solely on opinions?

"Other people" or the hack moderators themselves?

Also that screenshot doesn't look horrid at all.
I am currently moderating it. I am still half-way through world 2 but there are several levels which somewhat resemble the original levels. However, I am completely fine with this because I can see this is part of your concept and the levels themselves have different and fun (that's what cares) level design. There really isn't anything to complain about so far, except for all the language mistakes which are of course no removal reason.
I'll play through world 2 and maybe halfway through world 3 and then accept this one!
Strong point of this ahck is definitely the level design. Congratulations!
I play different games on Twitch, I did speedruns of Pokemon Red and Gold, Mario Party 4, but I also do SMW stuff.
I only stream to make progress on my hack currently. Check out my twitch!

Exits done: 50, Overworld: 99%
Play through Taomb Demo 3
Taomb is alive again. Check my Twitch as I work on in it when live.
