That's kinda sad, since after i first showed my hacks on youtube (very long ago, smww2 was still in a very early stage back then), and had people take interest in them, and even play them before they were released in a few cases (there've already been 2 lps actually :D both noticed errors for me to fix), uploading them to SMWCentral was kind of the final goal that i was going for, and now they just kinda get ignored. Even if people try them, i understand why that would happen: the beginnings aren't the best parts, i didn't understand the importance of first impression back then. My absolute favourite part of them both is the few last worlds of SMWW2, and i really wish more people would get there (and then share their impressions).

Edit: wow, sorry if i sound whiny, btw.
Mmm. The thing with alot of the people around here is they take interest in uber impressive custom graphics, music, ASM, and stuff like that, forgetting the game that they are hacking is simple, yet fun. I admit that Worldwide 1 isn't a very great hack from what I've seen, and it may rub some people the wrong way, but I can't wait to get back into Worldwide 2. That thing was fun and challenging, and I liked what you did with some of the overworlds, even if they're not really vanilla. #w{=)}
Good fucking bye.
Hey - all overworlds in SMWW2 are pure vanilla! ..I believe?
Also, even if it's not easy to do, i kinda agree with you about SMWW1 - it's pretty short and the levels' actual structure shows that i was just starting to make SMW levels. I still like the feel of most of them, though.
And, well, i think you'll get to SMWW2 soon enough - you could probably finish 1 in two videos, or one and a half.

It's a pity if what you say is true and (almost) vanilla hacks can't interest a lot of people, though.. I haven't played a lot of hacks and that's probably why i'm not tired of them at all.
If those are really vanilla, then you are a really damn impressive overworld editor.

Yeah, it is true, for the most part. There are still people out there who like vanilla hacks, of course, but a lot of people I know who visit these forums aren't exactly the biggest fans of vanilla hacks unless it's designed REALLY well off the bat. Yes, SMWw1 does have a good feel, but... Yeah, the majority of the levels have feelings of noobiness.

Also, finished the LP of Worldwide 1, and immediately went on to do a few levels of Worldwide 2 to make up for the fact that I dislike fighting the vanilla final boss. (Sorry, after seeing that boss in past hacks so many times I don't wanna fight it unless the hack continues on after it like in Forever Mystery) (Yes, the video's longer then 15 minutes)

Edit: If you want to talk to me further, PM me here or on YouTube. This is just getting ridiculous.
Good fucking bye.

Hmm the hack was pretty good. I enjoyed the levels. Let's say it pretty good for a vanilla hack =)
I can't for the life of me find the key for Cold Side 2. Please tell me :<

(if it's above those ? blocks I'll be uber pissed)

edit: nvmd I found it.
Your layout has been removed.
Good luck with CS 3 ;)
Well, I just finished SMWW1 and am now starting on the sequel.

My opinions are as follows... ahem...

THESE ARE SOME OF THE GREATEST "VANILLA" HACKS I'VE EVER PLAYED!!!

Just one thing...

No custom music. :(

(This of course did not stop me from putting some in with Addmusic...)
Check out my music!
Wow, thanks. :D But do people actually expect custom music in vanilla hacks these days?
Actually, from what I've seen, more vanilla hackers around here used custom music then they used to.
Good fucking bye.
Oh. Well, i don't really like when music from other games is used in SMW, and i'm not good enough to make my own yet...
Yeah, I don't really care much. Custom music WOULD'VE been nice, but these hacks don't really need it as much as other hacks lacking in custom music do.

I was thinking about upoading some parts of Worldwide 2 I haven't gotten around to uploading yet, and then Minecraft's Halloween Update was released... Continue being patient with my updates. #w{:s}
Good fucking bye.
Well it's minecraft, i can understand that.:D
This hack sounds fun I'll see if I want to play it when my schedule clears up. From the screenshots I like the palettes that you use. :D
If you do, be sure to write up your thoughts on the hacks somewhere afterwards :)
