Thank you. However and not to be nit picky, when I said 54th, I meant of all contestants, meaning of all 124 people. In terms of rank placement (1st, 2nd etc.) I actually tied with --SMWexpert-- and finished 36th. But, meh it doesn't really make a difference.

Well, that makes figuring out my actual placement easier, I'm low fifties/high forties. I came 35th, in a four way tie. My first contest too, so I think I was fairly successful.

Are you kidding? His level was amazing! I can't believe he didn't win.

Please, I had enough of those jokes on Raocow's Talkhaus. >.>
Good fucking bye.
Um WOW way to go FirePhoenix for being the outlier score for my level =) .. . !

Overall, I got just about where I expected to be, and am happy with that. Looking back at my level, I feel really stupid for adding some elements (pointless puzzles that can be broken, That One Diggin' Chuck, etc.), but I think it turned out to be a good level.

Overall, Lynnes is just about where I expected him to be, and congrats! Definitely deserved, that level was one of the most creative uses of vanilla resources I've seen. I've actually played this level more than once because of how fun it was, which is something I rarely do with most hacks unless I really like them, which I didn't expect to happen in a vanilla contest.

While I'm a bit (or in a couple cases, really) confused about the scoring of some of the other levels, be it good or bad, I think the results turned out pretty good. Congrats to everyone that submitted a working patch!
darn, i didn't enter it.

as robotnik always says,

"i'll be back next time!"
ah snap, fourth place? and only select points from getting a trophy? Awesome! I'm glad I was even in the top 5! It was a fun level to make, a few things I could have improved on a touch, and I would have had it, but I'm not complaining against the other 100 or so people who placed lower.
tl;dr yay!

On another note, you're quite the smart-arse for finding out the mystery judge was me.

lol, yes I am.

Are you kidding me? 588 bytes. Sorry, but even LM ASM hacks takes more space. All levels in LM looks like original levels, and probably you made ASM to make cements blocks appear randomly (however, I could name that good algoritm, but it's boring)... You didn't even used Lunar Magic!!!

But maybe if I will disassembly that... since you didn't used LM I'm could find algoritm...

Congratulations. You're not only wrong, but completely missing the point of the hack.

Anyway, I'll stop talking about this before I derail the thread. If you wish to continue calling me a liar, I'd be more than happy to completely prove you wrong through PMs or IRC.
Man, I had a feeling that forced hit would screw me over, but it was the best way I could think of to prevent Yoshi from getting into the castle room.

Actually, I probably should have just stuck a wall and Yoshi box before it.

But anyway, congratulations to everyone who entered the contest.

And I lol'd at Supertail's comments on DragonManGuyDude's level.

I should have tried this, who knows where I would have ended up.

Now, only waiting for the C3....

Oh derp.
Well, I'm happy with my score anyway.
you said to let you know if there was any mistakes...i saw the word his but it was spelt hsi...
I have to say, it was a pleasure judging all these entries. Not only were there a huge amount, but there was a ton of creativity and effort that went into a lot of these. Some even incorporated full stories, complete with cutscenes, and it was great to see.

If you submitted an entry, I'm sure there'll be some great feedback on how to improve your level design skills in general. What's also nice about it is going back and seeing what worked and what didn't with other entries, then utilizing it in the future.

So yeah. Congrats to the winners!
Meh, I should've seen my low score coming. Those types of levels were usually never fun because they were done wrong, and I can understand why my level was scored as such.

Well, congratulations to everyone here, then. (especially the winners!)

You hear dice being thrown...

Lunatic Lolo, an Adventures of Lolo 2 hack: 20/54 Levels ([C3 thread] [demo])
Tied for 10th! (technically 14th, but whatever....) I'm very surprised that my entry scored as high as it did. (And with no comments on the story. Whew....)
