A simple and minor Forest/Tree Issue

----------------

Minor Forest issues. I know there is probably some simple explaination for this and I'll be laughing at myself because of it, anyway:

Normally Instead of falling through the floor (and many other sprites, ex. Green Koopas) you would walk behind the tree (as shown below in the original SMW) but for some reason it doesn't want to do that

The final screenshot shows that there is floor behind the tree trunk just like when you go to edit the first forest level in SMW (in Lunar Magic)

Hopefully that explains it well enough.

Also in the second screenshot I'm aware that the koopa falls infront of the tree and not from behind, that is fixed but he still falls to his death

This may be a somewhat weird explanation, but try it out.
Are the edges of the tree trunks LEVEL with the tree top object? Try that out, i think that's how I was ab;e to fix it...
Also, i'm not sure if the small ones were designed to be used like that.

Yes they are level so I'm guessing thats not it. And yes the small ones were designed to do that (They were used in SMW). I may just go for the simple solution of just going into the map16 stuff and making ones that act like solid blocks so you can walk over them (although I'd rather not waste map16 tiles to do that, of course it only uses 3, and it's not like I'm going to use every single tile on all the map16 pages anyway).

Edit: Yay I figured it out. It has to do with the position of the tree in relation to the ground, shown by the picture below (for anyone who cares/wants to know why it works or doesn't)

blue circle means you don't fall through, red means you do (although I may have it backward, you get the point), ignore the cutoff

Yes (I think), doesn't matter anyway I figured it out (wow, my brain actually works for a change). I edited my post above explaining why it wasn't working, I assume the same applies to the thin ones as well. Thanks for taking the time to help out

mmk. I knew it had something to do with how the objects were laid out. Good job.
