Non-boss Boss Sequence levels

How do you make a non-boss level lead to the end of the game sequence?
(of course I've set it to trigger this in the overworld menu of lunar magic, but that does not work)

Does it have to be a castle...or does it HAVE to have a boss?
I don't necessarily think that it has to be a castle level, but I know that you CAN'T end the level with the goal tape or goal sphere. If you count the Big Boo boss and Reznor as bosses, then yes, you can only activate the level end with a boss. Iggy, Morton, Lemmy, Ludwig von Koopa, Roy, Wendy, Larry, Bowser, Reznors, and the Big Boo are all acceptable. Now using custom bosses is a whole different story. I have no idea there.

Now for some of the expert hackers who use hex editors, ASM hacking, or ripping and designing anything else, they probably can make it that you don't have to end with the boss battle of your choice. Maybe triggering or changing the level address, level mode, or something, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA!!!

Well, I hoped this helped.
all right, thanks
You could use a teleporting block around the goal sphere and customly make your own ending, also adding level 104 that can be used without messing anything up.
I'm not sure, in basic terms I think it has to be Bowser's castle. The current build of my hack ends with Bowser and it's not in his castle, evidentally the end sequence doesn't activate. Unless it's event tied, it's probably one of those things where it has to be the way Nintendo left it, otherwise it'll get really technical to do. You could try, and this is a lightyear long shot, set the particular level you're using to activate the same event as the completion of Bowser's castle. I doubt it will work, but it's the only thing I can think of which probably wouldn't require ASM, like the others have suggested. Otherwise, you're best bet is to just exit to him in the same levels as Nintendo did.
