You only need a safe haven because you pick trash anime girls for your avatars #smrpg{mlem}

I, however...
Just donated blood plasma for the first time. What an ordeal! Was in there for close to 3 hours and could have been in there even longer if the centrifuge in the machine they were using to draw my blood didn't break down halfway through the process. #smrpg{haha}

Real talk though I didn't JUST do it out of the goodness of my little heart to help the less healthful, I also really needed the money. The place pays $60 dollars for the first donation and an ever decreasing amount until a floor is reached. So it's a pretty great way to help the needy and also assist in the finances. Y'all should consider it if you haven't already!

I used to donate blood pretty frequently, but I haven't done so in a while. Last time I did it they somehow bruised my arm up pretty bad when they inserted the needle. Never donated plasma before, though. And you get paid? Interesting.
Donating blood and getting paid for it is pretty common from what I recall. I've taken a needle every now and then, but I usually don't go out of the way to do it.

STELLA!
I think the "getting paid" aspect is basically an incentive for people to do it because there's always shortages of blood and blood plasma.

Obviously yeah. People always need incentive to do something. Especially since this is something you need to go out of your way to do and takes about an hour out of your day.

But it's a pretty good deal, really. Save a life, get paid for it.

I'm a lil bitch who's scared of needles (not to mention squeamish) and I'm like 95% sure I'm not alone so I agree, people need a little push for that to happen #smrpg{gasp}

Tip:
I used to be very afraid of needles and getting poked by them. Now while I still don't like them, I can at least handle them.

Dental works still sucks hardcore though. Because many many needles will be going into your mouth to numb things if you hate pain.

Oh hey, you have our reverse! In Kansas, it was Winter just awhile ago and then got really hot and Summer time. Wanna trade? I will take your snow and cold anyday.

Seems to be getting cold again...I think?

Massachusetts can be like that sometimes too. My boarding school is three miles from the coast so we get more rain than snow. It's gross as fuck.

On an unrelated note, anyone else planning to do anything for Record Store Day this Saturday? Getting around with no drivers license while going to boarding school is a bit of a hassle, but I'm gonna go to the record store in the next town over then take the train down to Salem MA and check out some stores there. It'll be one hell of an adventure, hoping to find some goods along the way.

I reached out to one of the stores in Salem and they have some import 12" singles of 90s EDM that are hard to find in the US, so I'm really looking forward to going there.

In Texas as well be like that sometimes. That combined with the high gas prices going on for me to go to university and other things.

Tomorrow I'll be escaping the fluctuating April weather of New Jersey. I'm headed back to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where the average temperature now appears to be the mid 80's. PV has a large gay scene which was one of (ok the main) reasons I went last time and am going back. Met some cool peeps last time. Anyone else ever been?
