It's news to me that "most people" hate them. I know they certainly aren't well-liked around places like 4chan, SomethingAwful, and other communities where you get shunned to death if you use the same joke more than once, but for the most part I haven't heard the channel get much criticism outside of the whole "lore" stuff that I think they've recently started to take a little too seriously.
But turning to my own personal opinion for a second here, when the former GiIvaSunner channel was out and the whole idea was still fresh it genuinely was pretty amazing. I found it pretty clever for a couple of months, but the whole novelty sort of fell apart for me when the Christmas Comeback Crisis nonsense happened. It's a bit of an inherent contradiction on itself when they keep having little "series" that they expect you to watch them regularly for, but still hammer home the same few Flintstones/Snow Halation/Soulja Boy/etc jokes all the time as if they don't quickly get old for a frequent viewer. Some of the mashups genuinely are really good and unique, but because the joke's pretty much over at this point I kind of agree with WhiteYoshiEgg that they might as well just advertise them for what they are now.

I do kinda wonder why do most people still hate SiivaGunner when they were the ones which made Lazy Town explode in popularity like they did with the WANO meme; yes, I know that Lazy Town already had memes before this, but it wasn't nearly as popular before Siiva made it popular, and well, we all saw what great stuff the meme did for Stefan, so I just don't see why all the pointless hating on the channel honestly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, I'd say that's definitely a problem... however, they have been starting to stop with the whole act altogether (slowly, but still), and now they are even crediting the rippers properly in the Bandcamp albums they make, and in the recent KFAD event, they actually credited everyone properly and publically, so honestly, I'd say they definitely know how old their act has gotten and are trying to somewhat change that; dunno if they'll fully drop the act tho, but let's see
Also, I definitely do agree the lore has been getting old for a while now, but due to how much effort they make in making everything as elaborate as possible, you gotta at least appreciate that in some way lmao
