I decided to start up a new poetry thread. I'll keep this updated as I go. For now, here's a few. Enjoy!
Love
It’s like rain soft in a meadow, with God's grace carefully crafted into each drop
Each brushing your skin lightly, refreshing your soul with a new breath of life
And it liberates you to explore this mysterious place we call our home
We become like children, bewildered by the wondrous things that are about us
And as you’re driven through by the purest, most gentle of fire, that burns deep within our hearts of passion
You can’t help but lend a refreshment to your brothers, whose hearts cry tears, lacking of blood
And with a simple touch, water flows through the hand, and into their hearts of the wronged
And not even the meanest of evil isn’t cleansed by it’s pure nature
And this water rains
It rains on those who love and those who seek it
And home becomes the meadow, enriching and fulfilling
And purpose comes unto you, in awaking the child’s heart in others
In the purest way possible
Because of love
True Beauty
What is true beauty? Let’s go over the basics, shall we?
First thing’s first, two variables to compare
If we're to part true beauty from fake, then it’s only fair
One is who craves, and thrives for desire
And the other is driven, by dreams that inspire
That of whom desires, will live in starvation and despair
For she knows not of what she wants, only that of which she bares
And she’ll quest for something to fill that empty shade
An in-existent substitute for the desire she craves
She will be driven insane, her emotions will disperse
Like a passionate wild fire, with nowhere to burn
And when the angle of death, comes to take her life
It is then she will first see, what has always been the light
It will fill her heart of grief and sorrow
And she will yearn for the chance of one more tomorrow
And that who is driven, will live a life of bliss
And live life it to its fullest, of that it truly is
Given eyes that shine and hair like fire
Like the delusions adamant of that who desired
And explore the world for its beautiful wonder
A baroque journey, to explore and ponder
Chasing dreams like the smell of cookies in the mist
And find true love too, in the rapture of a kiss
And with her faith held strong
And her head held high
May it become obvious?
How true beauty is defined…
It's not about who you are from your skin
But a simple reflection of your beauty from within
It comes naturally, so soft and pure
It's only senseless to add anything more
