Thank you everyone for the kind words! All this support gives me great motivation in finishing this. I'll do my best to give you, next C3, a wonderful hack to play.
Some quick answers:
QuoteThis is easily the most impressive hack I've ever seen, visually. Have you thought about doing this/do you do it professionally? Because if you don't you really should. (Also I dig the rainbow HDMA in the last screenshot).
You mean making it from scratch programming-wise (like, making an actual game or something)? I'll may consider when I'll get better at programming, even though I see this very far from happening (I don't thing it'll happen 100% even, lol. It all depends on what I'm gonna specialize in during my university career).
QuoteOut of curiosity, why'd you keep some of the SMW sprites (like the saws) the same? It's not a bad thing - they fit decently - did you just not get around to it yet?
Despite I'd love to make a total overhaul of the Mario-themed sprites left, I'm not a gfx artist. Plus, making redrawn-ish graphics makes everything even harder. I'll consider this, but don't take my words for granted, that I'll make the overhaul of sprites succesfully.

QuoteIs the mid-air jump unlimited? It seems really overpowered that way.
It's not. It kept the same as in the demo (5 jumps). The rainbow-y level you see at the end of the trailer has them infinite as gimmick. My bad for not pointing it out, lol.
Speaking of it, I was considering adding a status bar counter of it, so that you can easily keep track of how many jumps are left to do.
Hopefully, next C3 you'll see this in a finished state. If you have other feedback, I'll be happy to hear!
