Stoned Jesus - I'm The Mountain.
Holy hell! This is awesome!
I just came across this and it's great.
Sure is trippy and diverse, the song builds up and has a lot of cool moments.
It's instrumental focused, and that's how I like it.
Even if I like vocals, I like when the instrumental is well worked on in a way or another.
Хуй войне!

I am listening to MDK, the BEST dubstep artist. (I recommend this artist for dubstep fans).

Minecraft is a ripoff of Minecraft.

Who's MDK?

I don't think you need to say nearly the same thing only three days apart.

I'm currently listening to Anacronist - RGB after Youtube recommended it to me. I've found myself really liking this sort of 80s heavy synth, retrowave style of music lately. Something about it resonates with me even though I wasn't alive during the 80s. The channel SoulSearchAndDestroy also has a lot of good retrowave/chillwave music I browse.

I also like a lot of lo-fi hiphop/chillhop music. The slow, calm beat is great for low-key background moments like studying, dinner or conversation. STEEZYASFUCK and Fantastic Music are both great channels for this sort of content.

Oh sweet, you're into that stuff too ! I only listened to a few retrowave tracks (I'm a lot more into lo-fi and the like in additon to vaporwave and future funk), but it's definitely a genre I wanna dive in.

Speaking of future funk, I'm currently appreciating this:
マクロスMACROSS 82-99 - Fun Tonight

It's super catchy, good-sounding and... it's got Yoshi Melee samples. No joke.
I myself find this an odd artistic choice that kinda ruins the music a bit by moments, but I still appreciate the rest nonetheless. Maybe I should manually remove these SFXs just for the sake of it.
Oh yeah I've heard of that. My brother was listening to a bunch of MACROSS 82-99 stuff a few months ago. My favorite Futurefunk mix is this one: The Last Days Of A Future Funk Summer. I like the second half of it better than the first but the whole thing is pretty good overall.
gave a listen to WOLF, by Tyler. it's okay.

i really like that album. handful of snoozers but a lot of really good jams too. Rusty is a banger

Wolfman by The Front Bottoms
I never knew about this song even tho im a fairly big fan of the band and wow! It's probably their best song and its on some random throwaway split EP.
ask me if i give a f*ck...
Recently I'm a bit obsessed with some Madonna songs, particularly of her album The Immacultae Collection. For some reason those songs remember me when I was a kid and played on my SNES, because at those times my mother bought a micro component and played a lot of discs, including the mentioned one.

I guess they must've used the same samples or something.

lmao, yes. The first example is actually very accurate.

Recently Tommy Keene passed away so I've been getting into his discography because i hadn't hear of him before he passed. Really good stuff, solid song-writing and great vocal melodies. Reminds me a lot of Miracle Legion (my fav band), so it's always good to get more well-written power pop.

Also to go with the "music discussion" theme, Johnny Cash has 104 "best of" albums.

I'm using YouTube's autoplay more often now, and I'm discovering a lot of good new songs! Built To Spill have many good songs.
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
Decided to try and broaden up my taste in hip-hop music, by using Spotify's recommended songs feature in a garbo playlist I threw in randomly. Thanks to it I've discovered artist like Mick Jenkins, Tyler the Creator, Rapsody, SZA, and Logic's older material (which is actually good surprisingly #wario{-_-?}).
The Chats - Smoko

Song of the Year.
ask me if i give a f*ck...
I needed some sick vocal-less beats for homework and I remembered I was meant to check out Iglooghost half a year ago

Eskaton - Écoute (from 4 Visions)

The bass playing on this song (and the rest of the album for that matter) is so good it hurts, and the layered climax is nothing short of orgasmic.
I'm looking for the name of music heard in a SMW romhack, and I don't really know where to ask it, so I do it here.
It's the music from the level Chuck Magnet, in the romhack J.U.M.P. (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9HWSLLE1M4&t=10)

Thanks!

Cave Story - Wind Fortress

Also, this is not the thread to post in for that stuff at all :/ if you're searching for particular resources of any kind, use this one. The General Music Discussion Thread is about music you've listened to and want to share or talk about.
