agreed. cant say I'd be entirely thrilled at the prospect of having to do precise platforming on a moving monty mole

I can understand why he would think the note block would be out of place. It'd be the only one in the entire level, yeah? You could probably afford to add some more to the level to make it a more consistent design choice, or not use any at all.

(lowkey confused why people are play-testing the level with power-ups and stuff taken from the top secret area. I mean I guess he gave them to you to play with but you obviously aren't supposed to lol)
ask me if i give a f*ck...

However, if you submit the level as is, it's still a solid, world 1 difficulty level. I just think the design could be made more... challenging maybe? Still a solid level.

More challenging =/= More fun. I wouldn't be surprised if that worked against this level

I actually completely disagree. I think this really shows how people prefer different types of levels. I love to be challenged, it makes the level way more fun in my opinion. Keep in mind I'm not referring to artificial difficulty, and a level doesn't have to be hard to be fun. However, the sense of accomplishment is huge for me when playing a level, and if a level is a complete breeze, there is no accomplishment.

Now, this level certainly wasn't a breeze, and it isn't insanely easy. I just think the gimmicks could be explored even more, for a more complete experience.

In response to what you said MM102, I wouldn't worry about anything over staying its welcome. Everything in the level is really neat and interesting, and could probably be explored more without becoming tiring.
I have a really hard time believing this is vanilla. By far one of the most impressive use of aesthetics I've ever seen. I'm completely fine with the difficulty being low as long as the level is still fun to play.

Definitely impressed with it so far.
