Hidden files in the file bin

Considering we have quite a few contests that are anonymous. I was wondering if there could be a site-based option to submit files that aren't visible to everyone. One thing that came to mind was an option to "hide" files from other users so that it can only be accessed when specifically linked to it.
I support the suggestion.
Yes. Please add.

This would be pretty useful so yeah let's add it.

Was actually gonna make this suggestion myself but I'm a filebin lurker and I find the coolest stuff in people's filebins sooooo
Usually for the anonymous contests or private files, you can simply put a password in your archive so nobody can know what's inside it. In fact, 3 or 4 Mad Scientist ASM Contest entries were hosted in the filebin but were passworded too.
GitHub - Twitter - YouTube - SnesLab Discord
Oh yeah passwords are a thing lol might do that myself next time.

Anyway, I still think having hidden files would be cool to have especially for single files where you'd need to first zip it then put a password on it all for one file.
I don't quite see why you can't just use another hosting service, like Dropbox. Not only do they provide so much more storage space, a lot of them make uploading more convenient thanks to desktop integration.
or we could try to get it done instead of resorting to a lame work-around because y'know not everyone wants to get nagged with ads or redirections or to download dropbox and load heavy sites.

Maybe people don't want to download an outside program when there's a place to upload files already integrated into the site.

It's less important, but there's also a reliability issue associated with hosting a file somewhere else. If you host a contest entry on Dropbox, people won't have access to your entry if either SMWC or Dropbox goes down.
Some user files has ips files and bps files name random. I just call my files hack. some my files hack are from the past.

He could very well publish it himself if he wanted to. I'm not sure why do you want to look through people's files just to upload them here directly, but whatever.

Is the music. The music is weird.

Hidden files sound nice. I support this idea.

toad64, this thread isn't about posting random files you find in people's file bins. Stop it.
Your layout has been removed.
Unfortunately, it seems that this "hidden file" option could be used to mask the uploading of ROMs or something illegal.
