Oh. I wonder who
would've possibly suggested such a thing...
Am I really doing this again? Will I embarrass myself one more time? Sigh, might as well try! Why the hell not...
All I want is a community where people can join to share stuff with each other, where people can experience differing opinions and overall different lifes, not too unlike socializing IRL, without being subject to a severe lack of empathy/sympathy from other users, like I've seen here for a while.
It isn't about too many joke posts. Having fun is a part of life. Hell, you guys know me, I can post random things sometimes when it's relevant, that's no problem. It's about Raiden's "anarchy" approach to that. The point of SMWCentral is to post things about SMW-Hacking, but it branches off into other types of hacking and not only that, but also accommodates general discussion. Look at this less like a country where everyone doesn't have much obligation to do anything except for what is forced by law, and look at this much more like a group of close friends hanging out somewhere and talking about their life one to another.
This is an unrelated post, but it helped me clear my head. I feel like Raiden was posting what he did before because he felt the staff was forcing their views too much on the users, which might or might not have been true (too lazy to think about that right now). But an anarchy where the staff can't do anything to organize users would just create another problem.
OK, this community has >1000 users, so naturally some people are going to create "mini-groups" of close friends here and there, but overall behaviour should stay the same. What if me and my family walked into a restaurant, with a lot of overall nice people around, but then one guy on the corner decides to cut off our conversation saying a lot of bullshit, and the owner says he can't do anything because he has the freedom to talk about whatever the hell he wants, even if he's intruding the conversation and overall being an idiot. If he kept it to himself, or if he decided to be sensitive about the conversation, or if the owner just kicked him out because he was causing too much trouble, problem solved.

the avoidance of excess or extremes, especially in one's behavior or political opinions.
If none of that happens, the family would probably just walk away from the restaurant. In the context of SMWC I think that it would just encourage the further split of SMWCentral into minor and minor groups of friends and overall more and more separation and circlejerks/echo chambers like Torchkas was trying to say (weird enough, him kinda contributing to that, whenether he was aware of it or not), until it completely dissolves, not too unlike what happened to Acmlm's Board many times. I don't think that's what most people want.
Wasn't disconnection from other users one of the main problems over here? I could swear people talked about this before.
THE ENTIRETY OF THIS POST IS MY OPINION AND ONLY MINE, BASED ON WHAT I'VE SEEN, EXPERIENCED, BEEN TOLD AND/OR BELIEVE, UNLESS COINCIDENTALLY IT IS ALSO YOURS. I'M NOT TRYING TO FLAME OR DISRESPECT ANY OTHER USERS, I'M JUST TRYING TO UNDERSTAND HOW LIFE WORKS. I AM A HUMAN BEING, I AM NOT PERFECT AND I CAN CHANGE. MISINTERPRETAION ON MY PART CAN EASILY HAPPEN. MISCOMMUNICATION CAN ALSO EASILY HAPPEN. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND.

If people are less complete assholes to each other and encourage less circlejerks, and overall are more empathic/sympathethic to each other, that would probably solve all of this. Not that I'm saying most of the community is like this, it's just, things and stuff and logic and happening spaces all around the Mario Party board. I'm tired and sleepy right now, give me a break.
OK. Not gonna lie, there was a time writing this post where I had a complete brain reboot, like, for a while I couldn't remember what I was doing. Welp, that's fun. Are there any new videos to watch? ...oooh! A new "Super Mario 64: 4 Player Versus" video! Want! Want! Want! OK, let's watch it, there's
no way I'm missing that!
