An interesting level, to say the least.

First of all, the design is good. I like the way which you made this level. However, there's some sort of unfair obstacles: the layer 2 pipes. They hide sprites, so the player can pass below one and a Ninji football just fall over your head all of a sudden. Also, if I lost Yoshi and he falls in one of those pipes, it becomes impossible to recover him.
Other than that, the level is well designed, with some interesting challenges. I'm also glad that the level doesn't lose quality by trying crazy things with the setups.

Now, to the best thing in the level: creativity. Changing most enemies to have Ninji graphics is something creative and well thought. The obstacles go to the same way, even though they're unfair sometimes. Also, I'm glad to see Yoshi in the level.

The decorations are good, too. The fact that some of them have priority enlabed isn't the best thing because they also hide sprites sometimes, creating some more hard moments. Also, there are some places that the aesthetics distract the player a bit due to their excessive number, but this isn't very serious.

To finish, I want to point a issue: Yoshi makes the layer 3 disappear because of the message that pops out when his egg breaks down. It looks that the only way to fix this is removing Yoshi from the level... Maybe this issue get fixed in the final hack.

So, the veredict is: this is a good level. It has potential to get a good position (at least 40th).

Yeah. I've attempted to show that the blue pipes are the only ones generate the Ninjis, so if the player encounters a blue pipe, they would know to be more careful. I'm not sure how I would be able to build around this.

I was hoping no one would notice... :(

I'm not exactly sure how I would build around this, though I have two options:

1.) Make it to where the blue pipes are no longer accessible by sprites.
2.) Remove Yoshi from the level

I don't want to do either of those, so I may have to think about this.

This was intentional, though I didn't know how to build up on this idea. It seemed like more of a repetitive annoyance rather than a progressive obstacle, so I may have to remove it to save up some Map16 FG space or just turn off the priority.

I just tested your level and had fun with it.
The concept is great and you developed it as the level goes on.
You also used layer 2 in a really interesting way.

There are a few things I like to point out though.
First of all: Yes the yoshi message will be disabled in the collab, but in your submission it may subtract points if layer 3 still disappears. If you don't use one of the sprites that is affected by the YI submap, just move your level on the main map and you're good to go.
The "moles" would pop out a bit earlier, but maybe it still works out.
Give it a few test runs and decide for yourself.

The first time ninjis spawn out of a horizontal pipe I was hit because I didn't expect it and the chuck spawns the "ninji" so late that there's very little time to react.
It would be nice if there was a section, which shows that ninjis can spawn from a horizontal pipe without the player being in imminent danger. (nice idea though)

Also this part is increbible difficult to get through if you don't know what's coming next. Maybe decrease the number of ninjis that jump in your face to one.

The celing at this part got me hit. If you don't need it consider removing it since it's a bit unexpected.

All in all a really cool level. The randomness messed with me a few times, but I think it's still manageable.
