This actually is indeed VERY useful for labeling and looping. Never once had problems like others have so idk, his choice on this.

Don't use #am4. We're trying to move passed those old formats, so avoid using #am4 and #amm, only use those if you're editing an old song that hasn't been converted yet but since you're making your own song, use #amk 1 or #amk 2 (I prefer 2). Most people put this at the top of their texts but I put them at the very bottom of the text file,
Originally posted by TrollopeEDIT: I don't think you need to fix the MML file when using PetiteMM.
Not really, all you need to do is fix the tempo and label the channels. At the start of the text you'll get a t followed by numbers, example: t120t120t120t120. Erase all those and and take the number it has and multiply by .4 to get the right tempo. With the example I jx gave you'd erase all those t's and put t48. Now set up your global volume. This is the w command. If you're using #amk 1, start off by putting w250 and if the song is too loud you can lower it. If you're using #amk 2, use w180, bc 2 uses a different velocity table for global volume and is louder. Before I forget, at the start of the text, put #0, and then every ; you see afterwards, replace it with #X, x being the next channel number. After this, you're gonna have to set up the instruments you want for the song.
Seriously tho, read the tutorial, read AMK's readme. Study it. HEcks, the best we can help you is if you post the text of the song, so we can guide you step by step more effectively. If you're afraid of someone taking the song, PM me then, and I'll try helping you out.
