Intro level is unchanged from last demo. It still says 1 level is playable.

The overworld is an amalgamation of horrors: it's the original, but the top of the castle is missing, a good 3/4 of the island has been replaced with pale-colored water, and there are a lot of mist tiles which cut off.

Yoshi's House is the same.

Yoshi's Island 1 has all the same problems as the last demo with the powerup spam, cutoff, and glitched goal sphere.

Yoshi's Island 2 is still flat, overabundant with coins, has that same P-switch which just falls pointlessly down a hole, and the glitched goal sphere.

Yoshi's Island 3 is the same overcrowded Yoshi's Island 3 edit that can hardly be called level design.

Yoshi's Island 4 is still pointless filler that looks like it should be an "end of demo" level.

#1 Iggy's Castle is extended from the last demo. Finally, some changes. However, that glitched goal sphere is more than just a nuisance. Grabbing it will kill you during the course clear screen because you fall down a hole and die. That in itself warrants automatic removal, but there's also the fact that you have change nothing from the previous demo. I will admit the area where you had the music block above the pit that you had to bounce on, then jump on the springboard, was a cute design trick. It's not going to save this hack, though.

Verdict: Auto-rejection

This hack is on my personal "Do not resubmit" list - if you do submit it again, I want to see screenshots with extensive edits. I've had three versions of this hack, all of which are incredibly similar, very low quality, and none of which addressed anything that were in violation of our standards, in under two weeks. This is section spam. Read the reviews.

Sounds good, but please don't forget the level design - this is the most critical problem with the hack.

The overworld is still a trainwreck with the mist cutoff and the discoloration in the cliff. Adjust your palettes accordingly and remember that even similar tiles in the set have different colors.

Yoshi's Island 1 has the cutoff addressed, and the goal sphere switched out for a post, which has a wall immediately after. Kind of makes for a silly ending. The problem with the goal sprite is it's not placed at ground level. If you don't place it directly above the ground, the player can walk through the goal post without beating the level. The goal post also goes so high it creates /more/ cutoff. The pipe glitch is still there with the thin pipe hanging above the slope - I can glitch through the pipe on the left side, and I walk against a wall of nothing on the right side.

Bonus should not have horizontal scrolling because of the giant amounts of cutoff. The goal sphere is glitched. The Yoshi Wings are impossible to get due to the structure, and the music note blocks are very annoying because the low ceiling and the bounce-from-all-sides quality makes it hard to get out of.

Yoshi's Island 2 has nothing changed. It needs to be completely redone because:
- It's still a blatant YI2 edit
- Too much emptiness
- Moles placed mid-air
- P-switch falling into oblivion still there

Yoshi's Island 3 is restructured. However, those rotating platforms are often questionable/null. There's a bunch of floating land tiles at the top of the level. The way this new version of the level is made, it's almost like you found whatever looked cool in the object editor then right-clicked the level editor. It still feels like a half-assed YI3 edit.

Yoshi's Island 4 has the same design, but more references written in coins to Smash Bros. games. This doesn't make it any more of a level, as pretty much all it is is riding the first line guide then running to the goal.

#1 Iggy's Castle needs to remove the goal sphere and move the Dry Bones after the horizontal pipe back further so it doesn't result in cheap hits. Forgot to mention in my last review that there is a caveat with flipping the surface lava upside-down: it acts like water and not lava, so you need to change its behavior in the Map16 editor.

Donut Plains 1 is playable to a degree but is based on the original level. This isn't intended to be part of the demo so I won't finish playing it.

You need to start using ctrl+del before you make levels.

Auto-rejected again. Please make a thread in Works in Progress so others can comment and give suggestions and your progress can be observed. The hack moderators are not your personal beta testers and the time taken from the staff team to invest in this hack with little to no avail has to stop. This hack will now be deleted on sight without review until screenshot/video evidence is provided that it has attained enough quality that it should be reviewed for approval. Continually submitting this hack with little to no changes will earn a section ban so please take this blacklisting seriously.

Well... Let's start.
The OW has an ugly bad pallete.
Yoshi Island 1:in terms of level design was good but it has a lot of cutoffs, in special the most notable the goal, this stage also have an unedited message.
Bonus: .... I guess this stage was very very random, bcz it has blocks putted in the same way as they are in the LM Direct map 16, also the stage have an cutoff in the end.
Yoshi Island 2:Have an totally strange message, this says:

But there's no midway gate at all.This stage have a lot of cutoffs, in special when those moles appears, also this stage is a bit random.
Yoshi Island 3:Is the king of cutoff and cement block spam.
Yoshi Island 4:Is an blatant edit with lot of cutoffs and also is a very short stage.
The last stage is very short.
General: I recommend to you start from scratch and stop submit this hack so fast.

Aww my, featured to be ugly. No offense, but the overall is very bad.

Level design is terrible. The first level is more or less good I must say, although it could use a better design in my opinion. As for the rest...meeh, they are really short; we're not only with a design problem here, but also a lenght problem: I highly doubt this hack has enough work worth of being accepted. Maybe making more levels would make it more reasonable, but not before fixing the existing ones. As overall, I think the level design must improve.

Aesthetic-wise isn't good either; there are lots of cutoff problems here and there. You should avoid attempting weird tiles placement too: infact, in worst cases, they could end up like this. I walked near to this pipe and for some reason I died. So yeah, summing up, avoid cutoff and weird tiles placement and your aesthetic should be decent looking. If you feel like it, I'd suggest you to try paletting: a nice palette would make everything look better without any big efforts.

Beside the one linked up there, I found a few misc errors. Here the goal sprite is placed in a wrong way; remember: the goal sprite must be placed like it's on the ground, if you consider the standard lenght of the goal poles. Here, instead, weird stuff is going on, I believe you randomly placed these tiles.

Difficulty is easy, due to design.

And always because of design, and also for aesthetic and misc issues, I'd reject the hack. I'm not sure if it's better to start over or to fix the actual hack. Your choice~

That's not enough proof, for me at least:

For literally the whole hack, the levels are short, flat stretches of land, and judging by how many times you resubmitted this hack, you're not really putting that much, if any effort into making the hack better.

As for the aesthetics, you also did not appear to put much effort into them. There's sprite glitches here and there, and there's also some cutoff and odd tile placement. I would suggest making your own palettes for the levels and maybe even some ExGFX.

Overall, this hack is just flat out bad. I would highly recommend you just start the hack over from scratch, since there is simply nothing that can be salvaged from this hack.

Difficulty is easy, due to the level design.

Most levels are hardly changed from the last demo, and all of them are of low quality. The worst offender, Bonus, has none of its problems addressed. Iggy's Castle is the only remotely passable level in the hack.

The new Yoshi's Island 2 level has horrendous presentation with the ice blocks, a lot of off-camera action, and unused Map16 tiles on the midway point, and the midway point drops you into oblivion. Is this level even beatable?

You still have a very long way to go before getting the blacklisting overturned for SMW: Pipe Kingdom.

You have no jurisdiction over which threads get closed - this thread will remain open for review and appealing your blacklisting.
