This hack is alive. This is only the begining why the hack dying? Enough crap here's some autumn season level from the season map:




Ignore status bar, so yeah the birds are in a rush in this level so stay in tact!

And it's hard to find some autumn type decoration help would be nice there!

So how is this?
Looks nice. The only problem there is that the level seems somewhat empty without all that stuff (question blocks, coins and more), though you said on IRC that you're going to add them, so it's all ok. The level design as a whole looks nice too. About autumn decorations, I can't find any, except for a background which you already have a better one and isn't exactly what you're looking for.

I like the way the level looks. Like I said on the IRC, You can either change the status bar's palette or use a sprite I gave you.
Seems to be nice. The BG looks a bit "cartoonish", but it's beautiful.
Looking forward for this hack.

It has now decoration yes baby!

What do you think? It's not that passed maybe but better that than nothing. It's now 51% done the autumn level.
This looks very nicely decorated, And the palettes are also eye-pleasing.
Now that Autumn season level is done next level Summer which about 5 screens are finished right now. Here are two random screens I took now:

I'm liking the palettes! But you have to definitely remove the flowers: They look too cartooney.
Been a while eh? Just came to show some pictures of the Winter level (and ironically it's Christmas :P):



It's still on an early stage, just showing the setup. Main gimmick there are bob-ombs by the way.

I really like the graphics here. It seems like this hack is taking a great turn so keep the good work up.

And to show a few pictures too. I lost my computer so I lost progress on the ice level. My apologies to xim for taking a bit long to post, but I figured I'd get a bit prepared for those screenshoots.



General palettes; as you can see, the log is recolored. I think it fits better to winter than brown, you guys are free to tell us your oppinions though!




This is some sort of sub-gimmick in this level which will only be needed for bonus areas. The point there is to jump in the bouncin' chuck while it's jumping so you can reach higher areas. It's not as hard as it seems, but I'd like to hear from you guys if that's alright to you.

It doesn't. Also what's the point of recoloring the horizontal logs if the vertical ones stay the same? Another thing is that their colors are so dark that they almost look like they can't be interacted with. I suggest changing the lame dark blue to something more fitting like brown with a blue tint.

The Y-flipped tree canopies really don't look good, I suggest changing the vertical scrolling rate to "slow" and horizontal scrolling to "variable". I'm also not too fond of the blue trees in the BG but that's forgivable and nitpicky of me and you don't need to change their colors if you don't want to.
The shadow below the "snowy" part of the FG is too dark and last, but not least, that... weird white formation in the dirt looks really bad and doesn't make sense, pls remove all instances of it.


The level looks fun tho.

Magiluigi - Thanks for feedback, I will take those points into consideration but one thing only: The FG palette - that was the deafult palette that we inserted the FG.

And I tried the BG to do ''Vertical scroll rate down'' but it didn't work effectively, without noticing the cutoff.


The main concern so far it seems those horizontal tree logs which I will fix them!

And without those white formation the dirt would look a bit....empty?!

RECOLORING ATTEMPT 1:



Taken some feedback from the IRC yesterday and from yourself. Everyone seemed to agree the brown trunks were better so I "re-browned" them. The green-ish BG was a suggestion from Arctic; I think it's a bit too bright, but I'd like to hear from you guys once again. <_<

As xim said, that FG palette is the default, but I can kinda see what you mean and I'll see what I can do about that; about those "weird formations", I'm personally fine with them, and yeah, the dirt would be very empty without them. I'll leave them there unless I can find some nicer replacement...

The palette looks much better, especially those logs. Also, a suggestion but you may want to variate the BG palette a bit. Otherwise, the level seems fun; found no bigger issues there so far. Keep it up!

And another update! A new level finished by me, the "Air Temple" or "Wind Temple" call it whatever you feel it, and the first boss in the hack:

An aerial assault by Albatoss and Dry Para Spinnies (Big thanks to Antimatterhunter for the gfx)




Here it's used the wind generator to push mario back (I tried to do limitations cause this is an earlier level)




And the boss: Master Sumo! Or what the hell is he, the lightning hurts and he walks in lightning and is protected by it, and throws sumo-fire lightnings, 5 hits with shells do the job (Another BIG Thanks to Eevee for drawing this boss GFX)
