Dark depths (10A 2. Rom) Done!

The level music is Final Fantasy V - Beyond the Deep Blue Sea,but the unsampled version.

Please let me know what you think!

Honestly, the level design there looks quite annoying. There's not enough space which makes things harder, but not in a good way. Try sticking to more open areas or at least give the player some space so he can deal with the enemies properly.

Actually you can pass every enemy and every pit just fine.
If you pick up a shell, you can kill them right away :P

I also think these corridors are all very small, which surprises me a bit, since you seem to have so much space left in the portion below.

In any case (if you want to keep it that way), I would suggest to move your whole level a bit more down at least and make the walls on the upper half higher or something because it seems quite easy to skip pretty much half of the level.

I really like your Background though. Looks pretty great and I think it works well in SMW.

New Screenshot
I moved the level down a bit and added multiple paths.
Thanks for the feedback!

Just clear a little question of mine. Is the palette of the background animated or so? Because the BG doesn't look that good on this new screenshot you posted, not saying it's bad, but what I actually mean is that the old BG was better than the current one.

Also I'd say you to change the palette of the sprites and question blocks to make them fitting with the aesthetics of the level, they currently look a bit out of place.
I agree with Undy; the level looks very cramped and annoying as it is. I feel like making the level more open would help a lot here. I'm also not sure if I like the multiple paths; while they provide a variety of ways for the player, I feel like it make the individual paths receive less attention and feel less detailed.

Some of those still feel very cramped, by the way, and I'm not sure if I like the rocks, as they don't add much to the design as they are now (mostly because they just keep bouncing in place). I would replace them with some different sprites and keep only the Diggin' Chucks there (or simply placing them on slopes, as they would actually move this way).

The level looks fine aesthetically, but I agree with what Mirann said.

No idea what caused that, but I'd try fixing it.
