Two status bar editors?

In SMWCentral, there are many layer 3 editors. Two are for the editing of the status bar. The first editor is Status Bar Editor and the second editor is Status Effect.
And now the problem: Nobody deleted Status Bar Editor. Why Status Bar Editor isn't deleted?#smw{o_O?} Please give me a reason.#smw{>:(} We need only one status bar editor.
Status Effect is simple and superior to the other editors so I agree that we only need one type of tool (although Smallhacker's is okay for some people [even me]).
I would agree that Status Effect is simpler and a lot more powerful, however it is pretty big, which is not a problem for most people. My problem with it, though, is it breaks certain ROMs. I'm pretty sure it's FastROM ones because I tried it on both my C3 project (which is FastROM) and on the hack I normally work on (again FastROM). Smallhacker's tool doesn't insert anything fancy so it works on both. The problem with it, though, is it doesn't seem to work on Windows 7 64-bit. I would vote for keeping both tools as each one is useful to some degree.

I know, what you mean. I used Status Bar Editor too and you must enter the path to graphics of your hack. In Status Effect it's easier, because you needn't enter the path to graphics nor to rom.

Huh? Strange since I'm a Windows 7 64-bit user and I can use Smalls' tool just fine.

I've never used Staus Effect, so I don't have an opinion here, but if it really break some ROM's, then Status Bar Editor should stay for sure. Unless someone fixes/updates Status Effect, of course.
I'm pretty sure the freespace finder in status effect is horribly broken. The only reason it's not been fixed is that I know any fixing will result in an entire recoding, and I just don't have time for that.

Good to know.

BTW: If the status effect fixed, what happens with Smalhackerss Status Bar Editor?

Hence why I backup my ROM and edit the status bar in one go with that tool. I was hesitant to see Smallhacker's tool removed.
